My son just did something similar a couple months ago….he is 21 and he met up with three of his best friends that he had met playing Xbox when he was 14, they all just met for the first time in California for 10 days, he had a blast!

Your excitement when you finally meet is so amazing! Your goodbye reminded me of Jr. High graduation and knowing my very best friend would be staying local and I was moving to a whole other city;( we bawled like babies!) 😭
So I’m a little older than you two and I just want to say that I love the friendship you have! I feel that a lot of us at young ages end up with friends that we may have known and been friends with for years, maybe the parents are friends of the family whatever it may be that kinda makes you feel obligated to stay friends yet you realize they’re not great for you. Maybe they aren’t a good friend in general, maybe just very negative and don’t make you feel good to be around, maybe toxic etc etc and it can take awhile to learn it’s okay to cut them out, that it’s actually for the better and in time we realize just how needed that was. I think we’ve all been in a stage in life, maybe even more than once, that we realize it’s not just with men, it’s with our girlfriends too that we need to make sure they are good for us, that they bring value to our lives and you can feel secure knowing they are true and loyal even when your not around - your friendship is what a lot of young girls need to witness, this is great because when your young you feel stuck. You feel like I’ve been friends with her/them for all this time it’s just the way it is… or if I cut ties or distance I’ll lose other friends , gosh it’s just amazing what you learn as you grow and I think it’s amazing you girls have each other. Your both incredible influences to hundreds of thousands of girls and women- showing what a REAL friendship is supposed to be like…again in a little older (okay maybe a little more than that, I just turned 33 this month 👩🏼🦳) and I truly enjoy following along because you are so mature , you are such a light in my feed and bring such a positive energy- much love to you both! 🌼
