Many thanks, you do wonder that given the time to get the barriers in/ up, it could have been cleared with at least one lane opened.... this "never can be too safe culture" will strangle us and frankly it will be the poorest who it will cost the most. It might be well intentioned, but boy it isn't thought through....
Nice video mate - much better than what I saw online yesterday. This isn't far from where the bus used to drop me off just down the road from the fish 'n' chip shop (Gills Cliff Road). Nothing too dramatic (thankfully) but there could be more later. I guess you'll be standing by for the next one - which could be anywhere.😀
The main road by the chippy is cracked from end to end right across and sinking fast. It will be the next to go. Closing two of the four main routes in to Ventnor.
