Thank you for the realistic view of creating an office/ gaming setup. I really appreciate you showing your full process and discussing the time it took to complete your setup. I enjoyed watching and it turned out to be a cool setup.
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Building setups is a lot of fun but it can still be stressful and very time consuming. It's all worth it in the end though.
Personal tip tape becomes weak with heat be it heat from electrical devices, Home Heat, or seasonal.. so try and mount with screws. Also use cable management and mount that as well cord weight and pull down things too
dope looking setup, I like the pattern you went with for the wall lights. Also I feel your pain, I just spent maybe.. 5 hours redoing all my cable management for my setup today, my standards aren't perfection but it's a heck of a lot better now lol. More importantly... I love the money tree, that's a biggun' ya got right there. I recently picked up a derpy little one that now sits on my window behind my desk as my sole companion, so I'm curious if yours gets enough light in that room? I couldn't really tell but maybe that room gets a decent bit of sun in the day, idk. My window is east-facing, so I'm worried if mine gets enough light or not. Anyways, congrats on your new setup.
Thanks you taking the time to write all this, I love these types of comments! Cable management has become the bane of my existence, which is ironic because I used to find it relaxing and therapeutic. I guess 5+ hours can turn into too much of a good thing lol. But like you said, even if the results aren't god-tier it still makes a huge difference! My money tree has entered a bit of a downward spiral and it's lost a lot of leaves, but new ones are still popping out.... Wish I knew if I was overwatering or uunderwatering but both actions yield the same consequence according to google research so who's to know. Be careful having yours in direct sunlight. Mine has always scorched after a week or two of it so it seems to thrive more in indirect light, but if yours seems to be healthy carry on. Thanks again for the comment and for the kind words of support. I appreciate it!!
@@MoonRiderTech yeah, I feel you on that. I just got a two pack of some wide powerstrip/cable holders with command strips, stuck everything in those which got my powerstrip and monitor power supply off the floor. no raceways but the only cables on the ground are my speaker cables now so it's a lot better and everything just goes up from my outlet to behind the desk. Poor tree, lol. Yeah, I just water mine every few days, it's staying green so I guess I'm doing ok. It might need some fertilizer, but the humidity and temperature should be alright, Idk, hope yours starts feeling better though. A moisture meter might help you figure out how much water the soil needs if you're having trouble with that. Thanks for the response, I hope your channel grows as big as that money tree!
Thank you so much!! I think I know the power strip/cable holder clips you're talking about. I'm actually about to order some to catch a few loose cables that are refusing to stay bunched up on the cable trays. I'm hoping they help. And that's a great idea with the moisture meter! I'll get one of those and see if that helps cuz I love my big ol' money tree.
@@MoonRiderTech Glad to help, I got the yecaye 2 pack. Just be careful to keep any source of heat on the outer parts as that may degrade the adhesive. I don't have a drill and they were cheap so they work well for me, haha.
This was a great, inspirational video for me. I do have a dream to have my Zen space looking awesome and share the process with the world. I can't wait for the day 😊😅
One thing that's brutal about govee rgb lights is their wall adhesive mounts are ONE AND DONE. Your first attempt at placement has to be stone cold calculated because if its position is off even by a bit you can kiss your wall paint goodbye trying to unstick it.
Which one is the devil’s tape? I’m working on my setup and the foam tape holding my wire organizers to my monitor stand decided to give out. I think it’s time to invoke the devil lol
Oh no, you must be truly desperate 😂 What foam tape do you use and how much? If I hang up a cable raceway I’m using about 2-3 pieces and when hanging something heavy like a multi-plug surge protector I’m using about 6 small pieces or 2-4 large ones. My roll of devil tape came included with a cable raceway kit. It absolutely holds like nobody’s business so it’s great in that regard but there’s a good change you’ll damage drywall trying to remove it. Since I’m not sure on the brand or exact type it seems like a heavy duty silicone with options available on Amazon.
@ the product I’m using is a mounted cable organizer that’s like a reusable zip tie and it came with its own foam tape on it so I don’t know exactly what it is. The good news is that I’m mounting it to a metal monitor arm so I’m not really worried about damage to it if I decide to remove the tape
I don’t use it at all for gaming. Might use it for white noise TH-cam videos or something when I’m video editing. But mostly I use it aesthetically to display wallpapers for shots of the setup
That would actually be a good thing from a chiropractic standpoint. We spend so much time looking down at our phones we need to counter it by looking up
I’ve also bought and built 5 keyboards myself, haha. As a custom mechanical keyboard enthusiast, assembling them and getting them to work is incredibly satisfying. I use some, display others-it doesn't really matter. But yeah, buying multiple pre-built keyboards feels a bit underwhelming compared to building your own, which is on a whole different level. At one point, I even had 8 keyboards, just saying!
As in the whole video has no audio or just certain parts? Just checked at a few points throughout the video in case an upload issue occurred. There are parts that don’t have dialogue like during most of the Mount-It monitor arm assembly and RGB showcase but that was intended.

Sehr schönes Setup und harmonisch mit der Raum Ausstattung.
i got 800$ electirc bill just by watching this video.

🤣😂
Oh that's a funny comment😂😂
Really great setup!👌🏻thx for sharing

wonderful. pls post more about it in the future

Such a great aesthetic! Totally gonna use some of these ideas in my next setup, I love the vibe!
Thank you, and please feel free!!
after so much of struggle, getting good shape and cool set up!
i have normal monitor arms but the rgb on that arm was really nice
I know, it’s subtle but looks so good!
nice setup bro

I can’t wait to see your zen space some day! It’ll be awesome, I’m sure 👍
put that tv on a large swivel arm so that you can pull it down and move it shooting out from the corner
TV is on a larger swivel arm. Problem is I need longer cables.
awesome setup!
7:30 I did this with my old setup, it was hella janky but it worked 😂
at 7:46 that is smart
Best Video so far!!!!
Wow, thanks so much!!! 🙏
great vid!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching! 🙏
@@MoonRiderTech pls keep up with the vids :D
You’ve got to do something with the singular wire coming from the hexagons please ☹️

Facts! I have much more peace of mind from using Scotch double sided foam tape. Still holds securely but has done far less damage to my walls.
Next time use a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive before trying to remove.
lesson learned: Place them on a carpet or table top to get the idea perfect, before placing them on a wall
cooll

@ oh ok, that would be a good spot to utilize it then 👍 Otherwise the foam tape I use is 3M Scotch Indoor Double-Sided Foam Tape. Best of luck!
