Croatia Landscapes

Follow our trip from Zagreb to Dubrovnik. Croatia is a beautiful country along the Adriatic Sea. A country with a population of 4 million people and history going back to Greek, Roman, Venetian and Ottoman times. At one time it was the kingdom of Croatia and part of Yugoslavia. The country recently fought with Serbia after the break up of Yugoslavia. Vineyards and olive groves carved out of the rocky landscape dot the landscape. Exquisite National Parks, UNESCO World Heritage sites and incredibly clean towns and cities. Very friendly people who are largely dependent on visitors to support their economy. We traveled on land and by sea enjoying warm weather and a swim in the Adriatic, the second most salty sea, after the Dead Sea.
