Nice reaction, I have listened for many years before realizing the songs, the lyrics, are all explore different aspects of life typically capturing the darker side. I think this song does that so well in every way. As I grow older and hopefully wiser I only appreciate this band and Till more. Powerful vocals, lyrics, and all around great music of Rammstein. As big as they are I’d say they are still underrated due to language the barrier for those who don’t take the time to understand.
I see this song a metaphor to the modern influencer on Instagram life style: Showing us all these nice, beautiful things - but at the end it is all staged and faked - just lies! Love this song 🖤
Another way I interpreted this, is the lyrical "I" is telling you that he's going to say whatever it is you want to hear, but know that it's all lies. And if you believe him, then you only have yourself to blame.
