My mother, who longed to be a Cantor but in her generation that was impossible, would have loved to sing with this ensemble . You've done a beautiful job of arranging.

What is this melody called/who composed it? My cantor does this one sometimes and its my favourite but I don't know how to search for other renditions of it.
Beautiful song, beautiful singing, beautiful words sang from the heart and to the hearts. But with respect i must ask if you can take more care in women’s dress to be more modest in keeping with the sanctity of our rich and sacred tradition.

I love this tune. I learned at Shabbat service in Alexandria, VA at Beth El.
Josh is my favorite rabbi-songwriter. I love the quality of his videos too. Great harmony from a great group of singers.
L'cha dodi likrat kala, p'nei Shabbat n'kab'lah!
My husband and I listen to this over and over.
We're a little late to it's coming out to TH-cam, but we made it to this melody's party!
And the low descant part gives it lots of texture!

Yahshua ha mashiaj king of Israel !!
This tune is basically from Ed Sheeran “I See Fire” ... maybe the song writer heard it and forgot.
It is similar because of the beat and the key. But it is not the same melody.
and this song and melody pre-dates Ed Sheernan by ... a lot lol
I put it to you that it is somewhat more likely Ed Sheeran heard it and forgot. ;)
How "performative" of you.
