Of course Cain had to have married his sister with Adam & Eve being the first and only pair. That had to be how things started if you believe the Adam & Eve theory at all, because there was only the single pair. Yet here in this video it's still referred to as "incestuous," which is humorous. Did you know that up until only about 1,000 years ago it was biologically safe for first cousins to mate? That's no longer true and it's typically necessary to go 2 or 3 cousins down the line to avoid serious birth defects and blood disorders. So in other words, at one time - as in the case of Cain & Abel - it was biologically safe for brothers & sisters to mate. And as far as that goes, when you think about it briefly, Adam & Eve themselves were related (by their ribs, or DNA) more like brother & sister than anything else. They sure weren't cousins...😮

@Jasonmakesvideo 》Well, even now there is still only a 3-4% increased risk of health complications with first cousins mating. You can search that information easy enough. I didn't make it up.
People still marry to first cousins worldwide and only 24 U.S. states prohibit it by law. Albert Einstein married his first cousin.
But either you believe the Adam & Eve theory for what it is or you don't, which states that the human species started as a single pair. I obviously don't know what you happen to believe. But if you do believe it then you have to belive that everything must have started with brothers & sisters mating, since there's no way around that conclusion statistically or mathematically. There just isn't. Or if you prefer to deny it anyway, then you are just one of many people who enjoy lying to yourself...🤪

@Jasonmakesvideo 》You either believe the Adam & Eve theory or you don't. And obviously I don't know what you happen to believe. But if you believe it then you have to acknowledge the math that brothers & sisters were mating together in the early beginning of humans. There is no way around that statistically.

Hmmmm has anyone ever analyzed the fact that God favored the "murder" as his "offering". Why death of a lamb would mean more than a resource worked and earned and renewable would not be???? The simple fact is God liked the death for offerings????? Why?
"We are made in God's image.."?????
This makes a lot more sense and explains why we killed all our gods and profits. Why war is in human blood. It's your beginnings, in death you were born.

I've said this for years. The Abrahamic god(s) was such a violent and vindictive creature. The New Testament was the most successful - albeit arguably deceptive - PR campaign of all time, in my opinion. I really don't understand how people can rationalize the two as a whole. All the same, I think it's worth mentioning that, taking these notions into account, it's no wonder such atrocities have been - and continue to be - committed in the name of that "god."

You make this statement without ever reading the bible or lightly reading and not understanding the context.
Cain gave a offering from the land but he just grabbed anything and put it together as a offering
Abel gave a animal offering because he was a pastor of sorts and he chose the best of the best of the animals he had and gave that as a offering
God appreciated Abel’s offering more because he gave the best he could while cain offered just anything at reach without much thought.

@@ericksoler1221 I've read the Bible and grown up in the Bible Belt. The Abrahamic god demanded blood sacrifice all throughout the Old Testament.
      Hebrews 9:22:
"... Under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins."
Or how about Exodus? "... When I see the blood above the door, I will pass you over..."
And let's not forget the ultimate blood sacrifice, Jesus Christ himself.
Leaving the church was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Look what Israel is doing to Palestine now, as we speak?
The Abrahamic religions are a sickness. The Bible is evil, and the "Holy Land" of the Gaza Strip is bathed in blood and cursed.

Without the law, sin is not imputed. Further, Adam was not deceived. Adam wields the fiery sword, judges the earth, and becomes a worm - thus fulfilling the law.
YHWH judged the gods, who neither know nor understand, wandering about in darkness, and became the snake - thus fulfilling the law.

I have the volume that contains the Books of Adam and Eve (there's two, yup)...realistically, if you actually wanted to make a real video about it instead of doing a 3 minute clip for clickbait it would be over an hour long just to summarize it, easily...you could make a whole series if you wanted to. The truth in saying that it's an incredible story would be an understatement. Personally, it's like nothing I've ever read or could've guessed and I read alot of stuff like this constantly and have a massive collection of different things most people don't even know exists. Another great video though :) Excellent work!

@@serenarose3822 Some of the cool stuff that would be available in stores? :) Sure! I don't know how in-depth you'd want me to go since this is only a YT comment, after all, but a few of them are:
The Secret Doctrine [H P Blavatski] - Originally it was written as two volumes but you can get it as one big book these days. It's basically a synthesis of science (alchemy), religion and philosophy. It delves deeply into the spiritual history of the cosmos and human life, drawing from esoteric, ancient and lost myths and traditions. Not really a book you read from cover-to-cover since it's thousands of pages, but I've gone through alot of it.
The Secret Teachings of All Ages [Manly P Hall] - This one is considered by many to be one of the most comprehensive occult books of all time. It's essentially an encyclopedia for esoteric traditions and ancient wisdom, covering topics like astrology, alchemy, symbolism and alot more. It talks about hidden meanings within rituals, allegories and the ancient mysteries (cultism/religion, etc) ans so much more. It's popular because it's influential.
The Lost Books of the Bible: Great Rejected Texts [Joseph B Lumpkin] - As the title suggests, these are books of the Bible that were either removed at some point or never actually made it in once it started getting mass produced. This is where the Adam and Eve books can be found, along with the Gospel of Thomas (talks more about the life of Jesus and aspects about him that aren't exactly mainstream knowledge), Jubilees (quite controversial), the books of Enoch and a slew of others. Highly recommend.
Hamlet's Mill [Giorgio De Santillana & Hertha Von Dechend] - This is another one that's quite revered, but also takes alot of heat. Essentially, it talks about ancient civilization being encoded in myths and legend and how there could be truth to the stories. It explores the idea of ancients possessing advanced astronomical knowledge (not really a dispute these days)...and other things. It's a fascinating read that challenges conventional wisdom and offers a unique perspective on ancient mythology and astronomy, etc.
Then, of course, I have The Law of One hardcover collection, Zacharia Sitchin's works, The Nag Hammadi Scriptures, The Complete (as it's translated from source) Dead Sea Scrolls, Hollow Places [Christopher Hadley] and I could go on forever just listing different things and it would never end :) There's never a dull moment though...whenever I don't have anything else to do, I'm definitely spoiled for choice. I have old stories and other interesting things as well, not just reference type books. But I don't know how long YT comments are allowed to be lol

The story of creation from the point of view of man has been told over and over again, instead of looking at it from the point of view of Man, you should look at it from the point of view of God, or whatever it is called. This being is looking at us from the outside of the void of space and our time. Everything it's ever said is from that point of view. Then it actually makes sense. Adam was made from the dust of the Cosmos. The Garden of Eden is the entirety of the void of space. Looking at it from that point of view makes more sense. Also, the black holes are the perfect engine. that proves a higher being as far as I'm concerned. But religions are ran by Men who are greedy and want to run the rest out of the world. Way they see fit. So it gets. skewed religions get skewed and fall off the rails kind of situation. They divide into multiple different kinds of religions because of the men who run em going back thousands of years. anyway, if you were to look at it from the original text and understand men's points of view versus God or whatever. black holes. become one black hole that absorb everything into it, then collapse in on itself, making another big bang, or let there be light, which makes it a perfect engine. which then you can wonder how many cycles that Adam went through before getting Eve. How old is our void of space and everything in it as it is? There's no way of telling since it's all reset every time. So 100 trillions of years every time. Actually, who knows how many actual hundreds of trillions of years it takes. But anyway, it's a never ending perfect engine and never stops. I'll never do it differently. It will always have this happen every single time. Perfect. Absolutely. genuinely perfect.

@GagnierA Full offense, but you don't know what the truth is anymore than the other commenter. No one does. All you have to go on are ancient texts that have been translated over and over, and changed to fit this agenda or that agenda over millenia - and many of those texts were taken from even older material from entirely different belief systems. You weren't there, so there's no way you can know for certain. All you know is what someone else has told you. Lie to yourself all you like, but don't act like you know any better than anyone else - because you don't. That's the only "truth" there is about it.

@@rec1219 Not all ancient texts are bastardized since most of them are written by the person that thought of them, but it certainly is plausible that many of them are concerning certain subjects. When it comes to translations, certain words or phrases do need to be changed quite substantially sometimes since there isn't an equivalent word/statement/thought in the new target language....but largely subject matters and sentiment don't change too much.
In this particular conversation that we're having here, truth isn't subjective when there's source material. Particularly when the source material hasn't been recopied all that often since it isn't considered canon. Saying something off the top of your head doesn't make it true even if part of it is true. You can't reinvent the wheel. Go with what's written or find a different subject to be interested in. That's the most basic response you can get in this aspect.
