Well - IMHO all gas cookers should come with these Kochplatte heat diffusers - burned pans goodby and excellent flavor preservation hello.
The only way a gas cooker can be as good if not better than the new induction electric cookers is by using this type of heat diffuser IMHO - no new special pans required - just turn down the heat, save on fuel and get even heating of the pan or wok........ far less splashing too.

I have to report that the heat diffusion does with almost certainty - help enhance the food flavors.
I peculate self ground coffee beans - and the lower heat combined with the heat diffusion has improved my morning coffee...... thank you Austria!
