I had completely forgotten about this cartoon. I was born 1971 and I must have been a toddler when this was on TV. I recently had a dream where I heard this the theme song. Good ole TH-cam to the rescue. Wow...our memories can be so strange 😮
Yep. Born in 68, and I remembered the theme song (the tune more than the lyrics) for many years. It wasn’t until 2024 that I started seeing these. I knew it was Hercules, but didn’t remember much else.
Hercules, hero of song and story, Hercules, winner of ancient glory.Fighting for the right, Fighting with his might,With the strength of ten, ordinary men. Hercules, people are safe when near him. Hercules, only the evil fear him,Softness in his eyes Iron in his thighs,Virtue in his heart, Fire in every part,Of the Mighty Hercules. 💘 ♐
I love this cartoon I watched it when I was a kid in the 70s . The theme song also I love it . When I hear the name Johnny Nash the theme song is the 1st thing I think of .
This Owl Man resonated with me so much I developed a demigod NPC character after him for AD&D. The adventurers had to climb a mountain to meet him and answer his riddle to secure the informaton they needed to complete their quest.
There are 2 titles that are very similar in the list-mainly because the Owl man appears in 2 episodes. If the Order of the episodes is any indication-this one would be "The Owl-Man Of Panssus"
@@hagerty268 I tried my best to upload ones that weren't available elsewhere. At the time they were being broadcast again in Canada, they were omitting many episodes for some strange reason. I had old videotapes from a decade or so earlier which included some of the missing episodes. That's largely what I posted.
@@MrStereo10 Would that be the late Jack Mercer? (One can view Mr. Mercer, on an episode of: "To Tell The Truth," available here on TH-cam, where he performs a live voice demonstration of Popeye.

My favorite episode. Helena is lovely.
He destroys the sun
Doesn't need a gun
He's the mighty
Hercules!
Wow herc sure ran up that mountain and down again pretty fast HOLY!
She needed Narcan. Thats what we use to counteract The Sands of Morpheus
That sorceress never ever learns

Owlman! Ancient world's Sydney Greenstreet!!
If you’re into Dungeons and Dragons, you can find a lot of inspiration from these old Hercules cartoons.
Softness in his eyes, iron in his thighs
I always said iron in his pies. For some reason as a kid still do.
主題歌も日本版よりオリジナルの方がやっぱりいいですね😺👍️🎵
Just keep the ring on
Hercules just has to kiss her to wake her up it worked in a fairy tale .
at the end where he runs off with the baddie du jour where exactly does he take them?
I read somewhere that he brings them to a prison up on Olympia where they get locked up. But how they always get out, that’s a good question.
helena is sleeping beauty in this episode

there are many dupes in the list from multiple uploaders

@@MrStereo10 I appreciate the hard work you did posting these episodes...Thank You
What episode number is this one?
As Seen on Popeye, Hercules & Friends
Deadilus is voiced by the man who voiced Popeye.

Iron in his thighs?
A metaphor for powerful muscles.
They couldn't very well have Johnny Nash sing "Iron in his erection" in a kids' cartoon, now could they?
yeah i like the other one theme song better
BOOOOOO HISSSSSSSSSS Johnny is the best
