I use a small sponge and dab with clear resin makes it shiny and you don't loose patter xx your picture us fab xx

I forgot to mention, that I would cut out ALL of the excess first before trying to use the tattooed image. I'm so sorry, i know how you feel.
It was the first and last time it happened to me, so every fail is a learning experience

OH. I know how you feel, but you know, I think that I would have still tried to use it, by placing a little resin on the board and place the tattooed image on the resin, cured it and proceeded with the project. But then, I'm a fake it til you make so, maybe not. But, I think that I would have tried it any way. Like you, I would really hate to have to lose that image.
I am pretty sure there is a way to use the tat on the plastic like a water slide someone in one of my groups mentioned doing it

when I do nails and use water decals I sometimes forget to remove the plastic so I know how you feel I get so angry but I put glue over the nail and placed the decal on and to my surprise the film came off I wonder would it do the same with modpodge on the canvas? thanks for sharing it came out beautiful..
Maybe I will give that a try on one I dont care for, that would be good if there was a accidental plan B , cuz I am sure there will be a day I forget again lol thanks for the tip
I would have used the clear plastic with the tattoo anyways it’ll be clear still
I didnt want to chance that you would see the plastic edge under the resin
Beautiful artwork. If you're interested I can tell you how to save your tattoo instead of throwing it away if that happens again in the future.

Omg it's stunning!! Love the tiger marks you put on as well. Could you give me some advice please? I've tried it twice on a canvas after seeing yours, but everytime I put the resin on, the tattoo cracks?!! Don't know what I'm doing wrong, and I'm desperate to do this 😭😭
This one is actually done on wood, but I have done many on canvas, make sure your canvas is really tight, spray the back with water then use a hairdryer to dry it, it should sound like a drum when u tap on it. Also if you are placing the tattoo on top of a painted surface, make sure the paint is completely dry first, should let it dry for at least 2 weeks before adding tattoo and resin, sometimes the paint underneath isnt totally cured and can cause cracking when you add water for the tattoo and then resin . Hope this helps. You can also try to spray a light coat of hairspray or clear sealer over the tattoo before resin (again making sure everything is dry first)

It would have been interesting to find out. But in the moment, I knew how upset you were. I do stupid crap all the time but I try to figure out how to make it work. Lol! 💞

I wouldn't think so, they are sold in bulk to put on your skin, but who knows.... I wonder how I could find out for sure?? Good question
