The coloration and markings on those bass are just amazing. I've never been much of a worm fisherman, but I did get a 30 pack of yum dingers on sale for dirt cheap that I'd love to try out. Glad I can watch and learn from you Matt👍
@@BreamBassBeyond I think it's more about being patient and the rod being the source of the action of the lure versus something like a swim bait, jerk bait, or spinner bait where reeling creates the action if that makes sense.
When you're working it faster in pretty much the same fashion as you would a fluke, you're right, the rod twitches are definitely the main contributor to the action. The cool things about stickbaits though is that little subtle wiggle they give off on the fall, you don't have to work it at all when fishing them that way just lift up and let it fall, the fish just can't stand it! Drives them crazy!
My last couple of bass came off a weightless wacky rigged Yum dinger. Same thing, kind of dead stick em until they bite. Boring way to fish, but ya get results. Is that the GP Chart swirl? Thats a good one. I'd throw back that last thing you caught 🤣
Gotta say you do a pretty good video. short, action pack, informative, not to much talking into the camera, great content 👍 keep it up.
Thank you, always love some good feedback whether positive or negative! I really appreciate it!
Hard to beat a stick worm, sometimes it is all they want to hit - thanks for the shout out, glad they paid off for you
Yes sir! Appreciate you James!

Stick baits are just so good I'm sure if there's any time of year I wouldn't throw them. Definitely one of my go to baits.
