Eminem opened up rap for me 18 years ago, but only because of him being a singing comedian along with having genius lyrics. This is a bit harder to appreciate for me, yet good non the less. And regarding me mixing genres as of late: It's not like I've heard all metal that's out there, but there is a craving for something really fresh and well produced rap sort of fills this gap!
