I can’t believe how people don’t realize all the hard work that goes into an online tcg shop, lgs, etc. going on month 5 working full time and doing the business all day every day and often late into the night. I’m tired bro. But it’s worth it. 🙌
watching your videos has helped me start my small online business recently. I don't have 3 years saved up, but I have about a year of living expenses and have gone all in.
Thank you for vids man, I've been looking at opening a store for some time as it's been a goal and passion ive had for a long time. I remember watching you vid from the celebrations release and always had it in the back of my mind. I think your advice is to set up with no debt with 3 years of income saved is probably the best advice I've heard from many. I want open but I don't expect open anything for maybe another 2 to 3 years as solely a collector, and going to start with online selling to get in the groove of it to minimize risks. I work as a Healthcare worker full time for 12+ years now and i love what i do but I would love to go per diem and work only 2 days out of the week and put my time into my passion. Thank you for your updates man, glad to see your progress over the years. Sending some love from Central Cali
Invaluable information, top channel for selling cards and running a business. Your channel has helped my business immensely where I’m pushing to hit either part time at my current job and part time selling or hopefully full time selling from my office. The channel was a godsend when I first started and still is to this day!
I hope you can TH-cam full time asap, until then we need you. Your are down to earth and everyone else adds a lot of not needed fluff or fabricate it to no end.
been buying and selling mtg bulk for about a year now thanks to your advice! just doing it part time and building that foundation across multiple platforms, thanks man!
You opened up a business when you had zero debt. AKA the smart way. Meanwhile, we got fools out here starting off with a pile of debt, trying to start a business to GET OUT of crippling debt, by going into even more debt as a new business owner. You can't make this stuff up. 🤣🤣
Absoluty right. Leverage the cards by debt/cc seems a clever idea at first, but without security in form of cash/Investors it’s dumb imho. The time frame from buying to selling is eventually too long!
My online card business is still going strong. I buy less Pokemon but my youtube channel & affiliate links still brings in money to supplement buying the cards to sell on tcgplayer. I'd probably never get a brick-and-mortar store, if anything I'd just upgrade to a bigger house if I need the room.
This video (along with a ton of your previous videos) have been essential for me figuring out how to jump into the TCG market after only dealing in video games in my shop for the last 2 years. Thanks for making all this, it helps a ton. Quick question: How essential is getting into TCGPlayer Direct? We've been selling on TCGPlayer for a few months now, but I don't hear Direct mentioned specifically in a lot of videos and I've heard some people say Direct has taken a huge hit sales-wise lately.
Start selling cards online they said. Itll be fun they said... dreading a 200+ card order which 127 of them are inidividual orders...FML. Besides the shippoing. I love every aspect of my buisness lol. I hope you become a youtube star one day lol.
I think the online sales and TH-cam route would be a more realistic option for most people. Try that, and see how long you last and how much money you make or lose😜
You need a Island in Bahamas open up a store and send all of distributors employs on a vaccation. 😂 Online store yeah grab a ticket and wait in line. But its more fun meet players and collectors than sitting in a man cave.
My question is when you opened your store, and you had been opening two cases every week for inventory did you have a TCG Player Direct Account or was it a NON-Direct account?
My question is how do you acquire that amount of bulk? I’ve been in the game about 9 months now and I struggled getting bulk and collections. The bit I’ve got my hands on was thru eBay and some customers coming to me with bulk but it’s usually dry. Any advice on where I can buy non sifted bulk?
Unfortunately, opening a store in Canada and getting a distributor is very very hard. Zero distributors will give product to an online only store even if you make 6-7 figures. Can’t win up North 😂
It wouldn't surprise me if they under-print Innistead Remastered because they realized it was more of a dud than they were hoping. Only have themselves to blame for not putting Parallel Lives and the other money cards in the Set.

Insane archeivment
They really don't understand how time consuming it is especially when still working a 9-5
What is a good % to buy collections at? I find tcgplayer eats so much of my profits

Have not one penny in debt but no allocations 😂

The background music was so chill
No a Gamers Cafe is enough 😂❤

I like this new setup
Damn bro I been waiting for your video. Are you getting more prismatic from this new reprint that pokemon just announced
yea its definetly a grind but its also fun.

Is opening a brick and mortar necessary? I want a physical location but just for processing cards and fulfilling online orders

The posting is weekly...or when you are not slammed lol
Good to see you back

@@TheCardChef when people know you buy bulk it kinda comes to you. People will contact you but you have to be ready and willing to buy a lot of it.
Thats fair I’ll keep pushing the word! Until then I guess I keep busting my ass for pennies with eBay bulk and collections.
Never go on vacation
How much do you offer people for bulk Pokémon?
Just curious.

Welcome to the show, which is not a show.
Also, tagged you on my IG post
A lot of people starting new stores struggle with initial capital to start. Care to elaborate on your personal experience with this ?
I did answer that in this video
Simple guy- throw me my Louis 😂😂
Great video, from one shill to another 😂

they just put that in wilds, they need to make new cards.
lol saying ebay and amazon being around 5-10 years, try 20 years
I have no concept of time anymore
2025... the year of B&Ms? 👀Nice video man, always good to see ya pop up in the feed.
But you’re home now…
Show off 😂😂
