Yeah my sister and I ( I'm the younger ) fought a lot more ( 3 years apart ) until I was like 14 or 15. It's absolutely normal for them to not get along / to fight. Pretty sure even adult siblings fight, for different reasons but still.

as a 14 year old everything you said about ellie 8:17 is extremely relatable and tbh i thought it was just me and im just an awful child the way i talk to people but knowing it isn’t just me can make people realize its just our age or maybe take into consideration kids and teenagers can deal with and go through things that aren’t necessarily good. a lot of kids go through just as much as adults do emotion and mental health wise

She didn’t do the same with us and I can say our bond will always be strong. Although i see how Ellie is still young and a teen.. how she speaks towards her friends or sister Is one thing. However, She does need to fix her tone especially when talking to her parents, No excuse. You can take her phone away if she raises her voice, no friends over, take her out of activities, she loves fast food so take away that and be strict on that. That IS something she can work on. Being rude is not cute and a reflection on the parents. This is taught at home, No sir, yes sir, no ma'am, yes ma'am. Respect is earned and when she raises her voice towards her parents especially, It shows lack of discipline and respect. Again, you show only a portion of your life however us as viewers point out what maybe you dont see from an outside perspective. Most are haters but some who actually are followers are just pointing out traits you may not see from an outside view. There has been times, Ellie has been in the car with a friend and she rudely talks back to Heather and Mark is driving and Neither dont say a word and go do the fun stuff yall were going to do rather thats ice cream, eating where they want to eat etc but at that moment. Mark as a father shouldve pulled over and corrected Ellie's behavior towards Heather. " You will not respond to your mother this way, if it happens again with this tone of voice towards your mother, We will turn around and go home and Your friend will have to go home, Do you understand me" Very stern and to the point, Ellie is a puppy and puppies need guidance, She talks that way bc she knows yall will let her, Rude tone towards a parent is disrespectful and needs to be corrected. My daughter is 14 almost 15 and is sassy , moody, tired etc ! she debates me on everything but it comes with age. At the end of the day she’s still a great kid who is top 9 in her grade , she’s a dancer, and in the school musical. I see the loving side of her but also understand and can relate the anxiety kids at that age have and how moods can change. My son just turned 13 and is quiet and sweet and always smiling. He has a small friend group, plays football but mostly locks himself in his room playing xbox all day. I get commenTs all the time about how I have to take his games off him so he can be more social! Why? He gets great grades and stays out of trouble.. times have changed! Kids aren’t playing hide and seek outside anymore.. I guess my point is as people always have something to say but as long as you know your kids are fine everyone else can kick rocks!

I have a sister we fought all the time but now as adults she is literally my best friend! We have the closest relationship and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for her or she wouldn’t do for me. We have a 5 year age gap. Relax people it’s a sister thing!

I'm proud of Ellie for openly wanting to pursue a career path that she's interested in and/or passionate about, rather than sticking with something solely because it may be more lucrative. You can tell she wants to chase a future that's fulfilling and meaningful to her own personal interests. Maybe one day she'll decide that social media is the right choice for her, but she's so young and has all the time in the world to dream big and figure out what suits her best.
I also used to get made fun of for yawning constantly it was an anxiety tick that i literally couldnt control. I had done it for years im not sure if she struggles with anxiety but could be that.

Emma has charisma in front of the camera, as does her mother and father. Ellie doesn't have that charisma, and that's okay. Ellie's lack of interest is apparent. For a large portion of her life, she has been involved in making TH-cam videos. That's why she doesn't have a problem joining in. She will find a career that suits her as she grows and goes her own way. In my opinion, she should definitely attend college.

First off let me just be clear, I'm not being rude or picking on anyone,every parent raises there children different and you do you, if your happy all that matters. I was raised old school and raised my children to be respectful, if they choose to be disrespectful or saucy, make bad decisions, then they new there would be consequences. I'm not saying take them out to the back 40 and beat the hell out of them, but if they were grounded let's say for week no phone nobody over to hang out, can guarantee it happened. When I was 14, I was exactly like Ellie. I wouldn’t say we don’t care, but we don’t make it the #1 priority. Being in highschool is confusing for a lot of people. Especially with how standards are for teenage girls today. We care about our friends the most because they relate more than our parents or family would since her friends are going through this area of time with her. I know this different but still a sibling situation: My husband and his younger brother were probably the same age difference. They fought so much! It wasn’t until my husband moved out to college that they really realized how close they were. Now they are very close! We ended being a witness to their wedding (they eloped) and when his wife got pregnant my husband was the first person his brother told. All this to say, I’m sure Emma and Ellie are close but I bet they will get even closer once Emma moves out.

This is gross because the truth is, they are being exploited. They’ve been exploited the whole time Heather has been making videos. They may say they have a choice but when Heather throws out things like “well you won’t get lulu or have nails, and this that and the other” like of course they’re gonna suck it up and agree because HEATHER GETS ALL THOSE THINGS TOO!! They are afraid to hurt their parents feelings if they say they don’t truly want to be on the internet. Which I believe that Ellie truly doesn’t want to make videos anymore, and that’s perfectly okay for her not to want them! When Heather said Ellie is gonna have a harder time in life because she doesn’t want to pursue social media, I got SO mad. That’s not true. Ellie can find a really good job and be happy and have nice things if she manages her money right. You can be successful and not share your life all over social media and exploit everything. Also, any kid under the age of 18, maybe 16, CANNOT give informed consent to having everything shared all over social media. I truly feel bad for Emma and Ellie, especially Ellie, because they’ve been exploited their whole childhoods and it’s not that easy to “just say no” to filming when you have all these lavished things held over your head and your parents might say “oh we are gonna struggle financially if we stop doing TH-cam.” Also, look at their view counts. They peaked a long time ago, family vlogging isn’t popular anymore and it just keeps going downhill. They really aren’t making that much money anymore.

These are such good videos to have. Especially with your kids. Everyone is on the same page and I find it to be helpful to talk amongst one another about these things.
I have a sister we fought all the time but now as adults she is literally my best friend! We have the closest relationship and there is nothing I wouldn’t do for her or she wouldn’t do for me. We have a 5 year age gap. Relax people it’s a sister thing!
To be fair, people were commenting that Ellie only hangs out with Emma for rides because that was said in the video. But it’s good to know that you guys are very sarcastic towards each other as a family and try not to take those things to heart. Every family handles things differently

I'm proud of Ellie for openly wanting to pursue a career path that she's interested in and/or passionate about, rather than sticking with something solely because it may be more lucrative. You can tell she wants to chase a future that's fulfilling and meaningful to her own personal interests. Maybe one day she'll decide that social media is the right choice for her, but she's so young and has all the time in the world to dream big and figure out what suits her best.
I also used to get made fun of for yawning constantly it was an anxiety tick that i literally couldnt control. I had done it for years im not sure if she struggles with anxiety but could be that.

Emma has charisma in front of the camera, as does her mother and father. Ellie doesn't have that charisma, and that's okay. Ellie's lack of interest is apparent. For a large portion of her life, she has been involved in making TH-cam videos. That's why she doesn't have a problem joining in. She will find a career that suits her as she grows and goes her own way. In my opinion, she should definitely attend college.

My older brother and I used to scream fight with each other on a daily basis when we were kids. We are 4 years apart. And now that I’m 22 and he’s 26, we FaceTime with each other every single day and are best friends. It comes with time and growing up.

First off let me just be clear, I'm not being rude or picking on anyone,every parent raises there children different and you do you, if your happy all that matters. I was raised old school and raised my children to be respectful, if they choose to be disrespectful or saucy, make bad decisions, then they new there would be consequences. I'm not saying take them out to the back 40 and beat the hell out of them, but if they were grounded let's say for week no phone nobody over to hang out, can guarantee it happened. I would never put up with Ellie attitude ever, she would learn real quick how to properly speak especially to elders, what she does after living under my roof is up to her but under my roof she would be respectful, strong minded or not. Again if your happy all that matters.

I’m a year older than Emma, and always thought how special it would be to have a little sister like Ellie. She’s simply being herself, and that isn’t going to change. When I was 14, I was exactly like Ellie. I wouldn’t say we don’t care, but we don’t make it the #1 priority. Being in highschool is confusing for a lot of people. Especially with how standards are for teenage girls today. We care about our friends the most because they relate more than our parents or family would since her friends are going through this area of time with her. I can’t get over the fact of why people can’t just leave the poor girl alone. If you have a problem why watch their family? My sister and I are 12 months apart we fight it took for us be later in our 20s to actually get along lol! Like a long time to get along we fought a lot we had seperate homes but now we’re close! Their huge age gaps in my symbling for my little brother who 13 while we’re almost in our 30s

I turn 21 in February and my little sister just turned 17 and we are totally different. I am Emma to a T!!! And my sister is honestly worse than Ellie😂she doesn’t care about anyone or anything that anyone has to say to about her, she has a million friends and only cares about hanging out with her friends. I was the same way as Emma in high school I always had good grades, I played softball and never ever got in trouble. My husband and his younger brother were probably the same age difference. They fought so much! It wasn’t until my husband moved out to college that they really realized how close they were. Now they are very close! We ended being a witness to their wedding (they eloped) and when his wife got pregnant my husband was the first person his brother told.
All this to say, I’m sure Emma and Ellie are close but I bet they will get even closer once Emma moves out.

This is gross because the truth is, they are being exploited. They’ve been exploited the whole time Heather has been making videos. They may say they have a choice but when Heather throws out things like “well you won’t get lulu or have nails, and this that and the other” like of course they’re gonna suck it up and agree because HEATHER GETS ALL THOSE THINGS TOO!! They are afraid to hurt their parents feelings if they say they don’t truly want to be on the internet. Which I believe that Ellie truly doesn’t want to make videos anymore, and that’s perfectly okay for her not to want them! When Heather said Ellie is gonna have a harder time in life because she doesn’t want to pursue social media, I got SO mad. That’s not true. Ellie can find a really good job and be happy and have nice things if she manages her money right. You can be successful and not share your life all over social media and exploit everything. Also, any kid under the age of 18, maybe 16, CANNOT give informed consent to having everything shared all over social media. I truly feel bad for Emma and Ellie, especially Ellie, because they’ve been exploited their whole childhoods and it’s not that easy to “just say no” to filming when you have all these lavished things held over your head and your parents might say “oh we are gonna struggle financially if we stop doing TH-cam.” Also, look at their view counts. They peaked a long time ago, family vlogging isn’t popular anymore and it just keeps going downhill. They really aren’t making that much money anymore.
