In fact, as far back as 1957 when the full production of Swan Lake was filmed live on the Bolshoi stage with the legendary MAYA PLISETSKAYA and Alexei's father NICOLAY FADEYACHEV, La PLISETSKAYA never did fouettes, she did the same as here pique chaines. BUT, the Odile variation was different from the one seen here, with different music.
