It will depend on site conditions , such as orientation tilt site issues , both can be good and bad at the same time , but it tilt and azimuth is same , ground mount will generate 5% extra than rooftop , but installation of ground mount will always be costly with respect to rooftop

If the earth pit is different for AC/ Dc , there would be no continuity , but there can be a possibility if some dc earthing connected conducter come in contact with AC earth component
One is for ambient temperature other for module temperature , gland earthing ensure the panel will be safe during cable tampering , that may cause flow of current on panel body ,
