- Making DIY spot welder with pulse timing control and old microwave oven trafo.
In this video I used double layer of 8 AWG (10mm) wire for the secondary winding of the transformer.
Output voltage is 2.5 volt and LOTS OF AMPERE!
There is a cheap module to control the impulse timing. It can be set for specific cases.
Name of the module to control the impulse: XY-J02 (from AliExpress).

How to connect time relay?
i used the schematic from the producer of the module. There is input voltage to power the module, and I used the NO circuit of the relay. The programm of the module needs to be set on 1.1 and then setting the time of OP (opperation) on 0.3 seconds in my case, but it depends of the power of the transformer. There are two pins for the trigger where 5V will trigger the impulse. That`s it ;)

Actually it is working on 2.5 volts and ot is pretty safe :)
Really bad background noise.
It's my diesel heater for the workshop. I know it's annoying. Thank God it's getting warmer and my summer videos would be much quieter ;)
