This was such an informative video. My hubby and I are seriously thinking about moving to Mansfield. Our daughters will be living in the Fort Worth area and we’ve really been going back between Mansfield and Cedar Hill. Do you guys really like living there?
Thanks for watching! Yes we love living in Mansfield! We also have a lot of friends that live in Cedar Hill TX as well. We spend plenty of time in Cedar Hill since its so close to Mansfield. Here's our Cedar Hill video in case you haven't seen it. th-cam.com/video/IRsgAMIMoms/w-d-xo.html If we can help answer any questions, you can contact us here mcgrawtx.com/email
This was a great informative video about Mansfield, Tx. I’m still doing my research of which city to move to in Dallas. I live in Los Angeles, CA and will probably be returning first before buying. Do you help people in finding rentals?
Left out the part on tolls- Dallas is 38 mins away with Tolls and light traffic. 360 only starts once you enter the toll. Without taking the toll, Dallas is 40 mins away with traffic can be longer now a days. The Map showed a commute to Irving/ Fortworth. 287 is a two lane highway. There will be more construction due to TXDOT improvements to interstate 20 so commuting to and from downtown fortworth is not 20 mins with traffic more like 30 mins with the tolls. In my opinion If you can live in the midcities or towards grapevine/flowermound traffic is sooo much better
the roads are very inadequate now as it's overcrowded. 287 and broad st are terrible. Another road east/west in between I20 and 287 is needed. The HEB is gonna make it even worse.
Thanks for watching. No public transportation in Mansfield. Arlington has public rideshare (VIA). Fort Worth and Dallas both do have public transportation.
@@livinginfortworth I will move to Texas, I do not know anything about it. I am confusing a lot! 😅 I have a family, I want a suburban place but I do not like rural areas. Is Mansfield too quiet?
It is diverse, however, Mansfield still have a lot of racist parts in the city. At first it was nothing but country before the development of the city.

What is the smallest area you can go to and still have a decent daily commute to Dallas/irving/grand prairie?
lots of options. depends on budget
Are there any other suburb cities that you would say share all of those qualities for a family with children of multiple ages?

Frisco vs mansfield?
Depends on what you're looking for. Have friends and clients in both cities that love each

Thanks for the comment
how is the diversity in this city?
Hi Tina. Here's a link that should be helpful www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/mansfieldcitytexas/POP010210
Also, how is diversity? . We are coming from a non diverse area, so that's what I'm looking for.
Take a look at Census “Quick Facts” for Mansfield (or any city) for a breakdown of that type of info
It is diverse, however, Mansfield still have a lot of racist parts in the city. At first it was nothing but country before the development of the city.
asking for diversity is racist@@TheDeesmith2011
