Honestly Kevin, this game gets even weirder the more you play it. I highly recommend you continue. I also recommend that you save often and be weary of how many days you have left before the annual blood drive. That's the only advice I'll give to avoid spoilers. Enjoy the game!
Harvester is such a weird, disturbing and interesting game and I’d love to see Kevin play more. That said I think it’s possible to get into an unwinnable situation. It’s an adventure game: go figure. BTW once you get arrested you can just walk out of the police station if you’re fast enough which allows you to get away with murder. You do make the game unwinnable at that stage as they’ll keep trying to arrest you buy you can just keep walking out and go on a murder spree in the town.
This game is such a treat, I was going to say figuring out you can punch and trying it out on Jimmy James was one of my favorite gaming experiences to date. Then I remembered the Veteran, and then death by natural causes, actually anything sheriff related is hysterical.
Can you please do a full LP of this? There's even a cult we're trying to get in, so that's pretty on-brand for the channel (also, I find FMV games like these weirdly interesting)

I seem to remember people repeating this as a sort of in-joke when I was a kid. This game got a lot of media attention back in the day, and even attention from the American federal government, due to how "disturbing to public morals" they thought it was (and supposedly, "violent"). It's not that disturbing, or violent (even by the standards back then), as they claimed. Just weird. Reeeeeally, really weird.

Well this is a welcome surprise. Always fun when an old weird classic gets some attention. Kevin should play more old P&C adventure games, they may be more linear than what he normally does but in terms of weirdness they're pretty much his match. Darkseed is another good candidate. And its sequel if the first one wasn't weird or stupid enough.

I found a Steam thread talking about this and supposedly he didn't get arrested and still works to this day. Although, there is some conflicting accounts and some say he did get arrested whilst others say he only got probation. We don't know much though.

The last act in the (SPOILER) was beyond satisfying; just when you thought things were getting too weird, the game somehow gets 100x more bizarre. The way this game builds everything before the climax was just incredible.
Since Kevin is doing old "interactive film" kind games, Kevin should definitely play Phantasmagoria. The absolute craziest is Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh. It ramps up so much faster than this did.

Ah, Harvest...How nostalgic! I remember watching a friend play this on his dad's computer when I was in primary school. My love of weird sci-fi/horror probably stems from this game.
There was a game called tender loving care (TLC) that was similar to this, p&c and those real life actor cut scenes. That was really screwed up. It was a little psychological and in between you had to answer psychoanalytic questions yourself to move the story forward. And the story just kept getting weirder and more psychotic. Depending on your answers you got different endings in the end and one was just more traumatising than the other. Don’t know, but I would love to see you play that. Anyway, love your videos.

This game has more disgusting/violent adventure items you need to collect than "Stick of Truth"
The added context of the release year added a lot of intrigue for me, personally. Hoping to see more!

Loved the Retsupurae run of this, as the town unraveled it gets stranger as you understand it more. Hope you cover 'I have no Mouth, and I must Scream', or 'Mystery of the Druids' or whatever if you find your feet with these games.
