i played the first GoB on my phone (cause it’s the only one that’s free) and i honestly don’t know how it’s possible it only took me three tries to escape opila bird, the controls on the phone are damn near impossible

1:41 funny thing is when I did the section on console, I was absolutely anxious because I knew I was gonna do this 100 times and how broken it was but the funniest thing is the section doesn’t even work on console. What I mean is even if you’re moving in even if Selena is looking at you, she won’t jumpscare you which means you could pretty pretty much get a free win 🤣

I think it's another problem of these games. They rely on those chase sequences SO MUCH. They're in every single game. Chases are not a bad strategy at all, but you have to use this tool wisely, not too often, or it will just get boring. They also reuse that same song most of the time. It doesn't help. Not to mention they're full of bugs as well and instead of fixing those they're making new games of the same, poor quality.
honestly this is probably why Poppy playtime made chapter 3’s sequence a boss fight instead of a chase, as much as I would have LOVED to see catnap chase us, you make a very good point here.

The Kitty Dino dude isnt a chase scene, its a boss fight, next time, change it.
He does run after you tho-
True it does try to chase you in the room which is why they didn’t include chamataki and tamataki from chapter 3 because they don’t run after you in chapter 3
