How rich did you get today ? The co founders of the company and executives already have corporate shares as part of their bonus. The first day at the market open of the IPO they sell their shares netting a huge profit driving the stock price down and then investment bankers can step in and buy at a lower price. Either way I like to look and pay attention to the insider trading. If the executives aren’t buying shares of their company then why should I ? Within the first year of a company going public the retail investor should enter a position when the stock price hits a new 52 wk low and go long. The retail investor fails 90% of the time. You need to have perfect timing.
