I have to laugh when you talked about recliners in your living room. It’s been a battle for me and my hubby for years and I just gave in and we ordered 2 couches with recliners in them. I think the pandemic switched a lot up and we just want to be comfy in our home. 😂😂😂
Dear dear girl, everything came out beautifully!!! Scrubbed fresh and clean, so rewarding. Love the back porch. 🤸. Please though, please have your kids keep the playroom clean, keep the dining table clean, keep their laundry room clean, etc; if only because it does them a disservice by allowing them to NOT pick up and clean up after themselves - nevermind it helps mom out tremendously!!! Trust me. 😊💕
Recliners- I gave in - gray leather couch with electric reclining features! Ashley Furniture-sleek not “football type furniture” you would never know-especially with skirt on back to floor / hides the mechanism and YOU have floor outlets! Middle seat doesn’t recline but ends do! Also love this feature - charger plugs built in!

Hi I am loving your content thank you for all the motivation. I am not a fan of recliners but I’ve seen some modern sectionals that are made of all recliners I have one and with kids the only thing I don’t like is the material I’d rather leather with kids but it’s so comfortable.
I’m obsessed with how the pew turned out. It’s such a beautiful piece to have and now is looking so refreshed. I miss your big living room shelf unit lol watching your clean the couch reminded me of the feather couch too. 🤭

Hey friend 💕 I think you should bring a box you when tidy a specific space and put all the items in it ,then wipe down and finally allocate each item in the box to it's place.. to avoid moving so much when you clean a mess ,,LOVE You ♥️♥️
Love your videos. Glad you are getting new furniture for downstairs as it always seemed too small for the space. Until you find what you’re looking for I would switch the furniture from the playroom to downstairs. I know you want more seating but the chunky furniture would fit the space better for now.

I do like the shelves you had in the kids laundry looks great! Glad school has been going well and in routine etc. (It’s so different here in Australia haha we have four terms a year- 8-10weeks long with two weeks break in between but Christmas/new year is 6 weeks break as it’s summer then. )

Great idea with the zones in the playroom ( gymnastics section). The only suggestion I would make is to put the sofa facing the television with the two chairs facing each other and a good size coffee table in the middle.Would be great to play board games with friends.😉

We still have 90-105 degree weather until October 1st. So we have awhile with hot temps. 🥵 awesome you can start feeling cooler temps. Fall/Autumn is my favorite season. 🍂🍁 The playroom looks great! I love how you sectioned it off from the gymnastics equipment. 👏🏻 For the living room-a rug in the center, 2 long couches on each side facing each other, 2 comfy chairs facing the TV and the backs of the chairs are facing the island, and maybe a little coffee table in the middle or a larger pouff in the middle for more seating. Amanda Paige-You Tuber-her living room is kind of how I am explaining. 🍁 The church pew looks amazing! I love the gray on top of the black and the natural wood on the bench itself. 🌾Love your channel and you as a sweet and caring person. Have a great week! 💜

I know you posted this 3 weeks ago but I’m just now catching up watching my favorite TH-camrs! Anyway you were talking about living room furniture and your husband wanting recliners. I recommend doing theater seating. Now you would have to have somewhere to plug them in but my small family live in a converted RV and we bought a theater love seat and it is the best purchase we’ve made, a bit pricey yes but definitely worth it! And you don’t have to worry about trying to make recliners look good because they do it on their own 😂.

My kids go back to school next week and it’s bitter sweet I’ll miss them but on the other hand I’m excited to get some projects done uninterrupted. I’d love to have a covered back porch like yours but the amount of time between heat and cold is very little.

I totally understand your frustration with rugs on carpet. I also love the look of it but I dislike how it always bunches up and gets wrinkled in places. It becomes a huge tripping hazard. My husband and I live in an apartment and we have carpet in the living room, bedroom, and den. I thought that having a large area rug in front of the couch and then coming out from under our bed would serve 3 purposes. 1). It would look aesthetically pleasing; 2). It would help to keep the carpet cleaner since we would not actually be walking on those areas of the carpet; and 3). We have a dog and when her nails get too long they tend to get hooked on the fibers and then she pulls the yarn and I have to go around and cut the loops that she has pulled. But even with having the couch and the bed holding the rugs down, I still ran into issues with getting buckles and wrinkles in the area rug so I ended up removing them both.
You did such a great job decorating your beach house! I have faith you’ll do something great in your living room too 🙌🏼🙌🏼
