- In hopes of developing Paolo's (Louise Abuel) meek demeanor and low self-esteem, Lilet (Gelli de Belen) lets her son participate in extracurricular activities at school. Despite being ridiculed for his feminine characteristics, Paolo often takes the high road by not fighting back. Everything changes, however, when he finds a hero in his club adviser Bryan (Boom Labrusca), who rescues him from his bullies. Just when Paolo thought that he already met a father figure in his life, Bryan slowly unveils his true colors and takes advantage of his innocence. After keeping his silence for too long, Paolo attempts to stand up against the injustice that he experienced.

I can totally relate to this. I was a victim of bullying in my childhood and sexually molested and abused by a relative. Now I am diagnosed with Clinical Depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I tried to take my life three times. This third life of mine is giving me hope especially whenever I see my family and friends.

heres a summary: (i tried my best to include all the important parts!)
the boy, paolo, joined the boy scouts where his fellow scouts were bullying him and calling him "gay" because he was "soft." the only one who stood up for him was the teacher, sir brian. after the second time they bullied him (on the stairs), sir brian called paolo into his office where he threatened paolo and his family and raped him. the boy scouts continued bullying him and, when paolo fought back, a teacher, ms mae, and sir brian saw. sir brian used that as an opportunity to continue his assault and even told paolo that no one would believe him if he pressed charges because everyone knew that paolo was gay. after paolo's mom expressed that she was worried because paolo has become so different, paolo admitted to what sir brian was doing to him. sir brian was taken by the police, where paolo's mom shouted at him things like "pig" and "animal." at court, paolo said that the assault happened from november to february. sir brian was denying all allegations, saying paolo was lying and he thinks of the kid as his son and he was paolo's only defender so he couldnt have hurt him, but he was still charged as guilty.

Although I watched without sub, I think I understood it. These are types of teachers who are monsters in human form. They have failed the society. God will surely punish him. Thanks to God the boy later opened up to his mum. When I have a child, I must make sure I create an avenue for my child to trust me and be my friend. It is very important to give your child confident.

Children must not keep anything from their parents and parents must always sincerely and genuinely listen to their children. Families must always keep a supportive environment to their children so that all children will live confidently and happy in society.

Oh yeah. Such great wisdom that no one ever thought of. 🥱🙄 It all easy to say words, words, and more words. The level of shame they make you feel causes you to remain silent. Its not easy as just saying dont keep anything.
It really isn't easy to directly say your problems and trauma especially kasi sa sobrang takot and sometimes the reason that some kids don't tell their parents their problems is because yung parents mismo ang nag aabuse sa sarili nilang mga anak at ayaw pakinggan, and some cases pa kahit sabihin pa kung ano ang problema, pinipilit ng parents na kalimutan nalang yung nangyari.
