Craig siriani is a horrible fake. You can’t even ask him questions in earnest without him blocking you, if it exposes some inconsistencies in his teach. Terrible person and teacher
I asked him nicely and sincerely why he teaches never to open the mouth square shaped or with some horizontal opening too, and showed him many pictures of great singers doing such, and he did not respond and simply blocked me from all communication. This is how fake teachers act

Thank you so much for this podcast.
I'm looking for an opera vocal coach.
I had a vocal coach but was not really trainwd to sing opera.
I'm a beginner. I need to learn from scratch. I sang in the choir of philarmonic orchestra. Not the same technique to sing a soloist.
I'm taking piano lessons to increase my musicality and train my ear.
Is so refreshing to hear about his education and background
    I'm really excited🎉

PREACH!!!!!! YOU'RE SPEAKING THE TRUTH!!! And this is now the problem with opera!!! Where are the Del Monaco and Corelli voices today??? Many fine teachers like yourself WHO KNOW WHAT SINGING IS ALL ABOUT get ticked off when they here whats out on the opera market these days!!! Rather recently I was listening to a broadcast FROM THE MET, I had to turn off my radio it was sooooo bad!! I also saw a broadcast from the Aids Gala from the Deusche Oper Berlin, and it sounded like an entrance Audition to The Bangladesh Conservatory for the Vocally impaired!!!

@@clefnoteproductions6695 Which is a shame since most of the “Beautiful” looks and body types rarely have the capacity to produce a true operatic sound in both men and women. And also to cast a singer because they are the “same race” as the role they are portraying is very narrow minded and, quite frankly, idiotic. Composers used to write for voices, not bodies or races…

I went to several Amato performances. Lucia, Fosca, Rigoletto and another that escapes me. Amato Opera no longer exists. Amore Opera came out of Amato. Nathan Hull who started Amore, passe away in the last year or two. The Amato Opera building is still there I believe but I'm not sure it's being used at all. It's a shame, what an institution

Venceslao Persichini taught a whole list of Great singers. Mattia Battistini, Giuseppe De Luca and others. He couldn't sing. He had a vocal disorder.
Ettore Campogalliani was a Composer and pianist and was not a singer. He taught Pavarotti, Mirella Freni, Bergonzi and others.
Some of the greatest singer couldn't teach at all. Many great singers were terrible teachers. They had the best come to them and they failed.
I think it is dangerous to discount someone just because they did not have a career. It is subjective generalising. If the teacher knows the right sounds then that teacher is valuable.
Douglas stanley did not have a career. He was the teacher of Lo Monaco.
What we say has repercussions. It is important to consider the things we say before we start to spread a fallacy.

To be fair, some of that “Blah blah” in regards to money to afford lessons IS a huge problem for those who are not wealthy. That’s a topic that doesn’t often come up about what it takes for someone who wants to learn to sing and they are busting and working their ass off and trying any just jobs to make enough money to both get food, medicine, rent as well as lessons. That’s what really needs to be individually solved for those who are NOT of well-off means. Moreover, another correction, as for the so-called "Covid19", if one takes a step back from listening to what their pharmaceutical-bought governments and allopathic industries tell them to do without questioning or investigating for themselves, and then notices the so-called "countermeasures" causing further either acute or delayed onset health problems, and even death, and then do the hard work and research BOTH sides of medical evidence, who is involved in the research, who is funding the research, who is making to gain from this research financially, and then to use critical thinking and realize what is actually going on, most of what is going on is not only overhyped, it is one of the greatest pseudomedical malpractice/frauds in history to date. I personally have met with medical professionals and even people who have heard from Fauci and these insiders that, to sum it up, they are playing the world populace like a harp from Hell, just to enact so-called social "population control" which is in actuality a form of eugenics/democide/genocide, just as the Nazis, Stalin, etc did during the last world war. Just as with singers who do their hard work to study healthy singing, the same ALSO applies to medicine - and not just blindly obeying what those seeking to do, what they call, either Agenda 21, "Great Reset", "The New Normal", etc, which are in reality all subtle forms of saying eugenics/democide/genocide - in short killing off the population because some people think erroneously that the world has too many people and that people deserve to die off. That mentality is the same employed by misanthropes and serial killers, let's be honest. If the opera singers of the past like Caruso, Patti, Flagstad, Ponselle, Eddy, Pinza, etc ALL knew about the nonsense going on with muzzles being worn to sing, they'd be horrified and disgusted with the level of ignorance and self-harm going on.
