@Jasmine Spencer well when a video gets 100+ views and you never know when a new one is coming it's incredibly rare to be first so often people comment it to mark the fact they were first or in the first few. Also when people really like a TH-camr often the TH-camr is more likely to be online earlier than later of the upload so the people who are "first" are more likely to get recognition. This is all my guess tho.
Fun fact: I was the first asmr person to do the follow the light thing. I picked it up from an actual cranial nerve exam video I found on TH-cam prepping for a role play and 7(?) years later it’s still a trigger 🤗 asmr was a tiny community back then I regret not continuing my channel but life goes on I hope I can have a following again someday!
