- An compilations of Cygnets, Goslings, Ducklings and other young birds I filmed during the last few years. With Mute Swan Cygnets, Egyptian, Canada, and Greylag Goose Goslings, Mallard, Shelduck and Eider Ducklings and chicks of the Eurasian Coot and Common Moorhen.
Nearly all birds were filmed in the Netherlands. Some Mallard footage is from Spain, The Common Eider ducklings were filmed in Iceland. ©BIRDFUN 2020

They are just beautiful creatures and the way their moms take care of them is just amazing they ate such great mothers and those babies are so cute. Always. Following mommy. Just so much love in those amazing feathered animals love them all all sizes colors all the best majestic creatures😍💞
@Fred Virtuoso Yep, and here in New Zealand we have the Packecos and the Eels who also eat the ducklings and the poor ducks battle to keep their babies safe!

Those are totes hecking adorbs... seen the Mute Swans, Greylag Geese, Mallards, Coots and Moorhens here in Denmark but not the other bird species neither as babies nor as adults. Thanks for a great video as usual Birdfun!

This video was really very nice. What a big family swan. It was but dangerous to go along a busy road like that. But fortunately it went well and all ended up safely in the other lake. Also the Nile Geese and the others all had a nice family. Cool that magpie there for a moment. What I did regret is that I heard a very soft sound sometimes. But your movie was definitely worth watching. And I really saw the whole video as always. And enjoyed it to the fullest. The shelducks was very special. I never had seen this kinds. And the red heads of the coot youngsters should not be missing in your beautiful video with all the young new life. I still think it's special that they have these red heads and that you won't see anything of them later on. Now let's hope they all survive. 👍👍

👍 #83 OMG I love the cygnets relaxing on the pavement/sidewalk. They are only around 5-7 days old too. I love the Egyptian Goose goslings too, I have never seen any. My absolute fave is the Coot chicks, and I have also watched your separate video on these, and I love it!!! The Moorhen chicks are nice but cannot compare to the Coots, which look like what I'd imagine Moorhen chicks to look like, mainly due to the red beak. Great video! 👍◕‿◕
This absolutely melted my heart Udo. I've figured out over the years as we know owls are my favorite but when it comes to families of birds that's next. mom swan and those cygnets walking and preening and swimming was so precious. I enjoyed all of the other families and their babies, this really tugs at the heart strings something fierce. I wish you a fabulous weekend & stay safe.

Fantastic! So enjoyable to watch all of these intimate moments with young life. The scenes with the swans were wonderful, in the water, crossing the road - beautiful angles of the cygnets and so lovely to watch. The geese standing guard over their goslings, the ducks and their adorable chicks as well as the coots. The Moorhen chicks are much too cute and the ending was perfect.
