Sending TTM to Team Facilities in the NFL can be risky, normally a low Pct of returns Drew Pearson went undrafted as well was a HS Teammate of Joe Theismann in High School So Imagine you have Roger Staubach your QB in the NFL And Joe Theismann in HS A side story to the Dallas-Washington Rivalry Warren Moon went undrafted in the NFL,because he made it clear he would not play defensive secondary in the NFL Only QB,so Teams stayed away! Great Vintage Sisk was wearing a Windbreaker jacket under his Jersey.Accessorie Apparel was limited back then Look at your vintage cards,you will see alot of that Players couldn't sport that look in games! Reserve players long ago had longer careers Teams carried 9 pitchers and 16 position players,so you had an 8 man bench! Teams carried 3 catchers,but NO DH,if you were losing,you would burn through the bench While the DH,Kept aging players in the game longe,reserve players like George Thomas lost their jobs with the DH,Teams carried more pitchers knowing you didn't have to pinch hit for them! Saves were not recognized when Elroy Face played They became an official stat in the late 60's Or else he not Bobby Richardson may of been 60 WS MVP! Great Content Thanks for sharing
