My suitcase has 4 wheels that swivel in any direction, making it way easier to push/pull along in the chair. From the luggage shop at Brighton Marina, for about £30!
Oh, your husband! He is so funny, and reminds me so much of mine, especially when he picks out the little under bits LOL! Glad you are having a blast, and can't wait to see all your upcoming content. Safe travels on your return!
There is a water theme park in San Antonio, Texas Called , Morgan's Wonderland. That is handicap accessible. I myself never got to go there, cause I moved it.But it looks like something you and your family might enjoy.
I completely agree about the Phoenix Instinct wheelchair luggage. I do have a set and I love it, but I also fly solo multiple times per year. So it made sense for me to spend the money. My favorite trick for hauling wheeled luggage is the supper big carabiners. They are usually marketed as stroller / push chair hooks, but they work great for wheelchairs as well.
Excited to see all your other travel videos. Traveling next month by plane for the first time since being ill so those will be really helpful 🙂Hope you are having a great time and not too tired on the 2nd day of classes

Hi Gem 👋 I am guessing from your last tutorial you are off on your very big adventure tomorrow Tuesday 20th of August 2019 ......I just wanted to wish u all the very best .... Lin in South Wales uk 🦋 💞
7:38 I've never needed anything like that. 7:50 Daisybelle(sp?) is not the only one who's puzzled about this. 12:25 I almost wanted to check that out. 15:28 I was mainly interested in *how* you were going to take everything with you. I'd say "have fun," but something tells me... :-D
eek, I'm not sure pulling it along like that is going to work, I stick to back packs myself, but when I've seen other wheelchair users with a suitcase they push them - which means you need one that wheels whilst standing up.
Don’t be embarrassed to have pot noodle. I take similar (super noodle pots or mug shots) when I go away to conventions so I can just heat myself up something with the kettle on the room if I need a quick meal. I also take crisps and biscuits too.
I love your travel videos and I hope you have a fun time here in LA! :) I was wondering if you had a suitcase that you would be able to push or pull while it's standing on all 4 wheels. I think for future solo travels that might make it easier on yourself.
Ngoc-Tran Le It would be hard to wheel with just one hand whilst pushing/pulling a suitcase hence why she’s attaching it to the chair. A manual chair user generally needs both hands to move efficiently and safely.
If you are looking for some legging style pants that are that slippery material but won’t slide on your cushion, maybe try some “riding breaches”. The classic breaches have traction bits on the bum and the side of the legs (so you don’t slip around in a saddle) but you can find some cheaper ones off amazon that look like leggings and the traction bits really blend into the leggings so your wouldn’t even know the were there.
I love your videos! My wife and I are both in wheelchairs. It is very enteresting and done so wonderfully!

I always bring a larger suitcase because it leaves room for souvenirs 🥰
