Hi Karen, I am sorry for the delay in the response. This stage start from Borres or also from the hostel of Samblismo to 1 km of distance of Borres. You can do this stage for 2 variants: Borres-Berducedo by Pola de Allande or Borres-Berducedo by the Hospitals´ route. We did of the both ways in diferents periods. I would recommend you do it for the route of hospitals if the conditions of the weather are good, without fog or rain. It is spectacular and the views are amazing, as you can see in the video. This route is more short than to go for Pola de Allande, but on the contrary it is harder and without any town during the stage. If you choose go for Pola de Allande (the other variant), I am sure that you can enjoy too, this is also beautiful and you will find diferents towns during the stage. Both routes are well marked, in addition in this dates you will find a lot of pilgrims. I would not recommed do it by the route of Hospitals if the weather conditions are not good, due to it is a route of mountain and you could find rain, fog or snow and it could complicate the way. I am sure you will enjoy a lot of the way since it is marvelous. Thanks and "Buen camino". Nika😊
