the plight of the arty kid

this is just a ramble i found in my journal that i thought i could make into a video - i think a lot about how growing up “gifted” or whatever can actually end up being a pretty detrimental label as a kid, especially when you hit adulthood and you notice how behind you are compared to others in other aspects of life. i also wanted to combine that aspect with being a creative child and having to leave that behind because it’s seen as a dead-end skill that’s not useful in the adult world. so yeah… if anyone relates to this issue please comment as i would love to know :)
