why don't they use a 2 or 3 speed infeed roller assembly ? instead of feeding too fast and choking the cutterhead? seems like a simple solution in my eyes.

14:01 quicker don't mean better. Over-running a screw is worse than being slower. Impacts are great tools, but there is one that works better than others depending on the job. Like installing replacement windows, a 12v is the best impact ever made for windows.

Wood pellets are made from some of those chips and a few years ago I had some wooden pellets that smelled like they had some type of lacquer in them.

1:12 Sand or earth, like emery, dulls the cutting edges of the blades.
In my opinion, it is no less interesting to show where the shredded wood goes later. I see that for many people it is simply rotting in the open air.

It is strange to see these very large trees being ground up. Are they no good to use as lumber???

Actually no. Many trees are to soft, therefore non-structural. But when chipped and mixed with resins they make good particle board or MDF.

Can’t believe that all that timber is no good , should see the crap timber my shed was made of when it arrived ,some pieces had to be replaced at extra cost so I could get it together, there must be something that it could be used for , disgrace waste .

It must be hard to be so intellectually challenged, that you can't even match the thumbnail with the video.
