I’d look at the Sigma 14-24 2.8 DG DN for Sony for your wide angle stuff and then switching to a longer lens for stuff that is far away. You want your aperture to stay constant filming video and your kit lens has a variable aperture which can mess up your exposure when shooting. When you need to shoot further I’d recommend getting a separate lens for that.
Thank you for the insight! I’ll check out that Sigma!
Maybe one day soon I can level up to a real camera.
The camera you use today is perfect!
The real budget options are from Konica Minolta, get one with a rokkar/gt zoom lens and you're set!
(sigma bad!)
I’ll look into it! I am definitely open to various different lens!
Have you thought about something like a camcorder? I have a canon vixia hf g50. If you want to have all the settings and photo capability of something like a DSLR then I get it, but just for raw quality video I love my setup.
I looked into camcorders and loved the ability to zoom in and out by pushing a button on your fluid head. I personally went with the mirror less to be able to use it for more then just video like you mentioned. What camcorder are you running? I’d love to check it out
@@Tolook I currently have a Canon Vixia HF G50. It’s a few years old, the modern version is the g70. I love the ease of use for recording video, but eventually with have something like a mirror less for pictures and some video as well. The biggest flaw with mine is when it’s REALLY bright outside it seems to almost “dull” the image. I live in Arizona, so it’s very bright very frequently 😂
@@BadoreksDailysI believe it’s bright in AZ! Does it have an option to adjust the aperture? If it does that would help not let so much light in! I’m going to check one out for sure!
@@Tolook I messed with it a little bit last night. I don't remember the setting but It's whatever decreases the level of brightness on the video, I think it was decreasing a little too much LOL. Right on man! Good luck this year!
@@BadoreksDailys if google showed me the right camera… it looks like in the setting on page 3 under the record section there is an ND filter option. That should help with the aperture and fix the brightness! But I appreciate the insight man! Good luck to you this season as well! 🤙🏻
Budget. Canon 2000D In the hands of a pro it's as good as a $8000 Haselblad.
Any camera in the hands of a pro would turn out awesome!
