- St.Gallen / Switzerland is a city south of Lake Constance (Bodensee), in the northeast of the country. St.Gallen is also located about one hour from Zurich ( • ZURICH, Switzerland 🇨🇭... ), close to the borders with Germany and Austria where faster train connections allow even day trips from Munich.
On this rainy day we start our tour at the train station. We walk to the nearby city center with the many shopping streets like Multergasse. We continue towards the old market square with the historical Waaghaus before we head up and through the old town again to the Abbey of St. Gall.
This monastery is one of the main touristic sights. The Abbey of St. Gall complex includes a library with a rich collection of ancient books, which can be visited though filming seemed not allowed. As we continue to the twin-towered cathedral and return to the city on our way back to where we started.
We end our tour at the St. Gallen train station.

Thanks for the suggestion. I first thought you ment Freiburg ( th-cam.com/video/GS9eri4tYx8/w-d-xo.html ). The Freiburg (Fribourg) you mean in Switzerland was unknown to me - between Lausanne and Bern. I have only been to Bern (before videowalks) and sure want to return. Seems like a nice trip from Lyon to Bern and beyond, checking out Geneva and Lausanne as well on the way. We'll see when such trip happens. France is pretty high on the list as I only have a few border places on the channel so far
@@poptravelorg yes Freiborg is a very small city but it’s like a Disney town, Laussane and Geneva would be good also, and yes France has tons of cities that we would like to see such as Dijon,Strasbourg, also Monaco it’s beautiful

Thanks. I'm going for realism rather than "cinematic" here so 4K60 is the best format available to me. There is no grading / teal&orange etc. - all sounds and images are as seen by the camera. I may go for more stylized videos on other channels yet for tourist and information videos I guess it's best to keep the images close to reality so viewers know what to expect when they see the places with their own eyes
You film people's body without permission
Filming public life is allowed as long as people are exchangable and more "accessories". In this video no specified people filmed. I have answered this misunderstanding for German videos (§23 KunstUrhG) a few times before and comply to blur requests. TH-cam also has a privacy complaint page where requests are checked by a human. So far people who recognized themselves are mostly happy about it. If you are in the video and like your face blurred please send the time code to my email (About page)
