Just got back and loved it. Rented a RZR 4 seat and stayed at a local resort. Well worth the weekend trip. Wasn't very crowded on a Sunday late July. Recommend this trip and a rental for any noobs out there wanting to see if this might be a fun hobby to get into or just looking for something new to try. It is not hard, it was safe and we didn't break down.
Bramwell is an awesome little town! you needed to stop in the little cafe/diner for their all you can buffet, all homemade food. Pocahontas trail system is ok, if it wasn't logged out it would be better.
The buffalo trails lodge was started by some part of my wife’s family never really got to meet them but a time or two but it’s a beautiful place use to drive by it everyday
Awesome! I can't wait to go sometime. Have you guys ever been to Black Mountian in Kentucky?? I'd say it's the next best place in the Appalachians. Huge place and rugged as hell.
With trails being 2way why do they all appear to be going 30mph around blind turns. A trip planned in 6 weeks and I’m a bit concerned about head on collisions. On trails around home my speed is 2-5mph
Went there in the spring, it was really nice. The Pocahontas trails were really good but I liked the Indian ridge trails even better. More elevation changes and better scenery in my opinion. It doesn't take long to get between the two though. You will end up on both probably. Trail maps are some of the easiest I ever followed. We always knew where we were.

Cool, I live in Princeton WV and ride those trails every chance I get
It's weird to see my home town so busy. I do like how it's so busy and full of life now, however, I wish everyone would clean up after themselves.
Going next week. Cant wait. Thanks for the vid.

What kind of rig is that?
Good video. On those trails xan a wolverine x4 do it? Or is it better with a can am trail. Thank you
Ariel N me and the wife took some ATVs up there on this trail and everything was fine.
@@joshc606 thanks
That looks sick
When will your next video be
Is this trail ok for kids? Any steep sides like the rockhouse trail? I have a 9 year old that rides his own 4 wheeler
I wouldn’t let a 9 year old ride any of the Hat field McCoy trails. Even the greens. Some of it is sharp narrow and steep.
NOPE
Kids can not ride the trails
Where is the Coke oven at in the Pocahontas Trail system?

thats atv riders paradise. not this place.
There is a trail head 5.2 miles from Buffalo Mt resort that you can drive by ATV. Not sure why you drive your rides to the main Trail head.
Jamie Ruble Maybe the road tire wear
fun trail system but always soooooo dusty
I live in wv
They're charging for trails that were free right aways!
Buggy is driving, not riding.
To much talk not enough trail riding
