Midsota has an enclosed power tilt trailer. They do a lot of custom building so I'm sure a person could get tilt to the ground, high sides. Not sure about dump included.
They did over the top stellar engineering and work on a custom dump for me.

im having the bucket truck vs spider lift dilemma right now. I own a small bucket truck gmc 5500 top kick 4x4 w small chip box, and 45ft telescoping boom mounted over center. I hardly use the dump box since it holds maybe 3yrds worth of chip. i am constantly wishing i always had a little more reach with my boom on jobs. I also climb so anything really tall i get what i can w the truck and climb the rest. i dont need a dump box since almost all my jobs i sub out a big chipper and gmc 8500 chip truck or dodge 5500 w short wheel base for the tight spots, also used for chip.
I am considering either going with a 70ft rear mount boom truck or a 90ft spider lift.
I understand job planning and logistics has a lot to do with the purchase. I dont have a trailer or a truck made to haul the spider lift and trailer combo. So i would be looking to purchase a truck capable of doing that as well if i went for the lift.
will the versatlity of the lift/trailer/new truck make it worth it? too many moving parts?

HAVING A 65 FT BUCKET TRUCK DOES 90 % OF MY WORK . I CLIMB AS WELL . THE PERFECT COMBO IS A LOADER TRUCK / 60-70 FT SPIDER LIFT / MINI SKID W/GRAPPLE / AND A SMALL TRACK GRINDER . IF I HAD YOUR TRUCK I WOULD KEEP IT TO PULL TRAILER WITH SPIDER LIFT IF POSSIBLE . IDK YOU EXACT SITUATION . BUT SOUNDS LIKE A SPIDER LIFT WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE.

Tilt trailers are a thing you don't need sides just leave the tracks expanding on the lift and strap it down don't load or unload with it disconnected from truck. Bigger lifts 72+ you maybe can fit a mini skid but you run into weight and length issues. 60ft spider lifts are a waste of time won't reach nearly enough.

@@ROGERWALDMAN I don’t sell them, I have a triple axle 24000 with stake pockets and it’s perfect for a big skid steer and midi ex.

Bucket trucks are not any were near the versatility of a 83 hd cmc spider lift. It will change your whole business. I spent most of my life plywooding bucket trucks across yards. been climbing 35 years 3rd generation arborist. After the first day with my spider lift I could not believe I didnt get one sooner. only tree I have had to climbs sense are the ones I just want to. And straps on equipment are just fine. chain and side aren't going to save anything if you tip it over. slow down.

Who’s using a 6 figure lift to take trees down for 3-400 bucks though? That’s a bad business model. If you have the ability to spend so little and get the work done, then subcontract it. Those tree guys with the lift charges you 400? Pay them with a smile and bill your customer 800. When they ask why it’s expensive …. “ we’ll sir/mam I had to get a lift”
