I think the stance of the deck is now more control than aggro with more focus on clapback. Something I noticed is that Salamon is its own TK if you’re at 3 security. Also if you proc patamon the first time (like say by guaranteeing it with angemon) then you’re free to rig your security for the next patamon.
I really appreciate the change in nomenclature! The card that really got hurt by BT14 Takeru getting limited is BT15 Tailmon. Tailmon and Patamon objectively belong together both for lore and game strategy. Until Bandai prints a new Tailmon with a rule that is an Angel, yellow vaccine is in a bind. There are a limited number of ways to tuck Tailmon into security now. (With EX7 soon approaching, I hope you finally build your Pandamon deck)
Pure Angel Vaccine is definitely going to be much harder to run. It would be interesting to see Gatomon get a special rule that treats her as Angel in trait. Pandamon will be a bit ha ha. With one copy it's kind of just there.
I was actually running the Promo Patamon in the early testing of this build! Mainly because with higher copies of Emissary of Hope you could play off it and search. HOWEVER, I found that I was pulling out pieces sometimes that I wanted there which is why I dropped it. The inheritable is good though for the security debuff.
@@DIGI-PANDA So I will share my sauce. The reason for running the promo pata is more to view sec before pushing out the bt14 one since now its riskier. If you play Tk and Cody, you can play the promo for free. search and since its a may eff, you can just leave everything as is. My second sauce is completely abandoning t.k as an engine and run kari and rev of liight. You can then play rookies to go into rapids for free and still recover if you need to. Honestly, I do not think yellow armor is tier 1 anymore and may look at other variations. Maybe play rush 4GDs...would love to see that as a deck profile :)

Realistically the deck “doesn’t care” about losing Awakening except when you really want to evolve from Flamedramon. I want to test a rush down version using the old Flamedramon because 10k on a level 4 is pretty good.
BT1 T.K. turn one is beastly. But you do have ways to look at what's in security. It's just more of a gamble now when you promote up. But if that gamble pays off worth it.

@@DIGI-PANDA cause competitive wise is not worth it anymore and that's simply what matters. Of course you can still play it "for fun" but that's not what this talk is about cause "for fun" doesn't care about power levels or efficiency

I think the variant I made is more funny than hardcore sweaty. But who knows maybe players will adapt to the strategy I've offered.

With Chirinmon as the main lvl5, we could run Bt15 Nyaromon as the default x4 eggs -> keeps Magna X inmune while getting a refill on each attack
You could! With limited pieces I didn't feel good trashing them ha ha. But that immunity could come in clutch pre-emptively.

I thought old boutmon from like bt6 is a funny card to have in the level 5 line up
It's not a bad option either! It allows for unsuspends but it doesn't help with the security aspect.
Does anything change in blue Magnamon deck?
Promo Flamedramon is basically the only addition that I've seen. I haven't playtested it much because it doesn't feel like you're changing much.

Figuring out how to tuck cards back into the security is the big thing here.
