Great work on this movement. These little clocks are very heavy built. I own a few. Movement parts are still very easy to get even some new old stock movement parts.
Learn something from your video that the balance stuff must be balance accurately, is the hairspring through the regulator adjustment hole should move freely is it, thanks
Hairspring should be free. Amount of freedom depends on fine tuning you want to do to further time the movement. More freedom will slow rate down slightly, less freedom will speed rate up slightly.
I don't have one of those waiting to be worked on at the moment. If you want to send one, I will get worked in. You can contact me at jamesmart55@hotmail.com
@@jamesmartin5370 Hi Mr Jim You have my cuckoo/quail clock that you are going to do a video of. I don't think there any serious problems, like bushings.I mainly would like to see your disassembly , reassembly and adjustment procedure. No hurry,I know you have other work before mine. Bob
@@rehorneman Will do Bob, It showed up in good shape, just need to finish up the orders that are ahead of it first. I will keep you updated. Thanks Jim
Enjoyed this once again...helping me navigate through the process of servicing a Baby Ben. Thank you James

I agree,
They had to be dependable, since they were the standard clock that keep the folks on time during their day.

This one was in sure in good clean shape.
It almost appeared like it was not used very often.
