This was the most interesting interview I've seen for quite a while. More people need to see it. Great guest with comprehensive answers. Although I would like Pekka to ask more folow up questions. Not only follow the script. For example it would be nice to hear what Vitalik thinks about deep fakes and how they can be dealt with.

He had more than enough to figuratively go for Trump's jugular, but instead he hesitated and flopped. I can only sincerely hope that the second debate on Tuesday, 10 Sept. on ABC, is tremendously improved. Aside from that, everyone enjoy your weekend!

Vitalik is against warfare in general, not "supporting Ukraine" here. The same is true in Ukraine, political opinion varies widely across the country, and the similar dynamics of wealth stratification, corruption, political opinion and experience, between those who live across the country and those who live in concentrated political capitol areas, is similar to how it is in America. You have a wealthy neo conservative/liberal elite in the large cities (Kiev), and you have everybody else who runs the infrastructure, and the agriculture, and the commodity extraction/production, across the rest of the country.

Advances in cryptography such as ZKPs have a lot of value but at the same time are being pushed (without success) by every blockchain shill around.
