Maybe you mean autofocus while filming, because with photography the AF is perfect. Especially when you use the mid-point focus.
how much does it cost to buy the same camera and lens?
My favorite lens, but how do I get a full person at 1.8 to get a beautiful bouquet?
If you are shooting full body, I suggest you go down to 2.0 or 2.2 I usually use 1.8 for closer half body or head shot.

are you using Lightroom to edit? Lightroom can help brighten up the images nicely.
