Holy fuck that Morning of Owl performance was without doubt the best crew performance I have ever seen in my life.
So sad they are not what they used to be, and now they disolved.

@@RebelsWrestlingHypeHouse I think injuries and lack of interest on bboying scene or smthing like that made them stop as a crew, so they split up. Sknuf is in another crew called Milky way or anything, and Owl'd is in Artistreet. Code's been teaching in his own school academy, and Pocket's been around in the scene these years in solo.

@@TheZeitheizt lol It's SIlkroad not Milky way, and no it had nothing to do with injuries or lack of interest, it all started when Pocket choose to leave because he didn't agree with how the future of MoO was going to be, bad beef with the leader of MoO hoarding all the money also, this slowly led to the downfall and splitting up of the group. Very sad and unfortunate, will forever be the best breakdance group ever though.
Really miss MOO these days. This crew was so fuckin' OP from 2012-2015 it was ridiculous ! 💥

Morning of Owls is SICK!!!! The dopiest performance ever.
I've kept up in the bboying scene for about 15 years now. I remember attending a Red Bull Master Session held by Crazy Legs. One of the comments he emphasized was that MC's should never be biased and should never show any reaction to moves as they can bias the judges and affect the energy of the dancers. However, if you start watching BOTY 2004 and onward, all this guy does is rip on Korean bboys. Complete dinosaur in the scene. Script or no script for this particular battle, Legs is an extremely biased MC, which is evident in the BOTY's and other battles he MCs with Korean bboys. He says idiotic things like, "Falling" or "Crashing is not an option" during the guys set! Here's an example: Project Soul vs. Pokemon - UK BBoy Champs 2005 Final (DVD) Crews Battle
crazy legs was just one of the first to be on bboy scene. the movie he was in, along with his knickname, gave him some fame. he had mediocre moves who wouldn't even come close to competing with the bboys of today. he talks about flavor and footwork alot cuz those were the only moves he was able to do. he had no acrobatics moves besides maybe the windmill.
A like to help push this comment up top. I think Legs seemed to be pretty interested in Korea's performance at UK Champ 2002 but somehow he has kept talking them down later on.

+Vincent Aprilio just Crazy Legs and Africka Islam turning up the UK every year to draw their pension. They're both old-school bigots so MoO is everything they hate about bboying because it isn't foundation. Those guys are just dinosaurs though. Sad thing is that people like Hooch (the promoter) still hires them even though they're mentally unstable and no longer relevant in the scene.

Honestly, who could beat this Morning of Owl. They were well skilled and organized, they are champion. But Japan did good job, they were skilled as well and each member had decent moves. They deserved to be in this final. I want to say that it was a nice battle and I personally enjoyed it.
What a DOPE battle, floorriorz have pure flava, outstanding footwork and very well timed routines,all their sets where sick but all the members kinda look the same. MOO in the other hand are pure freshnesh, original, lots of moves and each one clearly has his own style (cho flexibility, issue kung fu etc) that gives the crew something special. Of course they have the best and more original routines in the world right now, and bboy Pocket has world best power moves. MOO best crew 2013, no doubt.

Oh my God... I honestly said to my monitor, out loud, "shut the **** up" a couple times. Those MCs were distracting, judgmental, overbearing, obnoxious... just, ugh.
EDIT: And that was easily one of the best performances by any crew I've ever seen out of Morning of Owl. Holy cow, what a show.
Everything in this battle was great...except for the MC. You can tell he prefers the more traditional forms of breakin' (nothing wrong with that), but he didn't have to let it be known in a FINALs battle.
I think it's Crazy Legs. The most annoying MC ever during battle. He never shuts up.

Its been a real pleasure watching morning of owl this year. Showcasing the new styles of bboying much respect. Ive always been a supporter of Crazy legs(MC) but damn homie this was to much. Every dance evolves, Mo0 is one of the most original crews to date. That's one of the great things about bboying is the evolution and diversity in styles.
MoO is simply RIDICULOUS!!! They totally defy themselves in *every* competition I've seen, to date!!! "Issue" and "Pocket" take their routines to the bank! N'uff stated! Japan is incredible as well, but Morning of Owl are absolutely SICKENING,,, sooo COLD BLOODED!!!!!!!

I think it's safe to say.. Morning Owl fucked them up, and they fucked my world up! It's been a while since a performance hyped me up this much. Just for laughs though, I'll comment on the MC too.
