+razrv3lc I don't think that belting would suit the vibe of the studio recording. She definitely was able to do it even back then. It's kinda hard to properly describe it, but I consider the live arrangement to be a bit more assertive in terms of delivering the message of the song (in a good way). Love both versions and it's very difficult to actually choose just one favourite :)
Ilya Gulenkov IMO. She wouldnt have been able to belt the powerful C5s in this the way she does in 2017 in 2016, she couldnt even belt a Bb4 it was so raspy. I would love to see her re-attempt “With One More Look At You// Are You Watching Me Now” she could slay it now. Here, live she is very.... sassy and assertive with the way she sings it. In the album its very “oh please dont leave me crying“ live its very “ *OH I DONT THINK SO YOURE STAYING RIGHT HERE* ” haha

No she sang it at all the French shows for 2017. At my show in Bordeaux it was in the encore section at the end but the other shows it was early on. Also my show had the last performance of ordinaire. Just now realized that show was 25 songs long which is honestly crazy considering only bylm, le ballet, abm, and tsmgo featured playback. 21 full live songs plus some good partial bits in two of those.
@@twc621All By Myself wasn't performed in French shows for 2017 so only 3 then? If you think about it 2016 and 2017 had a lot live, moreso than most tours from the 90's probably.
