This channel is one of the more genuine cruising channels on youtube and just doesn't get the attention it deserves. Keep it real.

That Bella seems to be a good little helper. She is always helping you with anything you do. I'm proud of her. She is going to know how to mess with that fiberglass, which is some good stuff for a lot of things.

Boat jobs are like ice bergs. You only see what seems to be the easy simple work that needs to be done which is the 'tip'. But once you get started the rest of teh ice berg reveals itself.

I’ve replaced a lot on Adventuress. With Coosa board, not g10. That damn rudder post! And my DEWALT oscillator is my friend. Most useful sander/cutter. The bottom layer of glass is much thinner!

Why does one small job turn into a bunch more jobs, or an even bigger one? Yeah, I def know that feeling. LOL You're doing a solid job Lee, its frustrating but you're doing a solid job. All of you are. Cheers!

Brilliant move updating the propane center. Sealing leaks and replacing hoses is an important safety move. Frankly, that regulator can always do with replacing every 5 - 10 years. No need to wait if parts are available and you have everything apart.

Hey, love your channel. I recently bought a Pearson 424 hull #30 up in the puget sound area and will be doing many of the projects you guys have been undertaking. One of them is fixing a soft spot where one of the scuppers isnt sealed well. Do you recall how thick the core was?

Now you have to ask Bella to polish up that tiller cover so it's nice and shiny on deck!!

do not use water pipe tape on a gas application. Just fyi. Get some yellow tape, gas tape. Water tape will deteriorate over time, gas eats it.

I can understand the desire to build it strong and moisture proof but G10 is WAY overkill here. The core is just there to incompressibly separate the inner and outer skin whereas G10 is heavy, dense and rigid and designed to be structural by itself.
You'd be better off with some new lightweight core material and just backfill all hull penetrations with resin and proper sealant.

G'day my old mateys from a humid & overcast Sydney. Hopefully (for yours and our sakes) the boat work videos will soon come to an end and we can then watch you explore new and exciting places. It's easy to slip into a pattern of "boat work" content and you will lose armchair sailors like myself. Much as we love you guys there is only so much boat work that we can consume (I'm well over it) and we will stop watching and you will lose so many "views" and "likes" and that will affect your income from YT. So while you're hooked up in a marina in Mexico, why not at least show us where you are , the facilities and some cool stuff from the town (or city) where you're in port...come on, I know it's hard when you've so much boat work to do, but let Lee & Bella do the work (or you can take turns) and go film some other new content to boost your channel. In the meantime I will persist with the boat work, but only for a few more episodes and then I'm calling it guys.

I understand you have jobs to fix on the boat, but really cant wait till your showing sailing adventures again instead of boat fix videos.

Waste of g10 IMHO. H100 pvc foam or coosa board would have been appropriate and way cheaper.
