Thank you, Sadie and Madison, for reminding us all to set our priorities on Christ, and the eternal purpose of expanding the Kingdon of God first; over our own insecurities, desires, and self-importance. There are so many people around us who are in great need of the truth, yet; we may not allow ourselves to be quiet and sensitive enough to hear the Holy Spirit speaking to us with His still, small voice, concerning the desperate need of others for their salvation, deliverance, healing, restoration, or, to find a living hope in Jesus, etc. The following poem sums this up perfectly.

You lived next door to me for years
We shared our dreams, our joys, and our tears.
A friend to me you were indeed
A friend who helped me when in need.

Hi Sadie, Im exactly in this moment of singleness and is currently feeling the pressure of being in this moment, external pressure to be exact. Before, I was like, "oh its okay to be on my own and not have special someone with me" but as time goes by, I was starting to feel sad about it. But Hey, this message kinda helps me understand this season in a wider spectrum and be okay with it. And makes me feel confident doing things for Gods ministry. I feel confused by this as a Christian. Some of the things that are being said in this are true, such as: “it’s not about me, but about God and Him getting the glory.” But then its mixed with sensuality and the things of this world. I don’t see how God is glorified in a show such as the bachelor. Granted, I haven’t really watched the bachelor-but what I do know about it seems to be totally void of anything to do with Christ and glorifying His Name among the nations. I wanted to just write this comment to encourage other brothers and sisters in Christ to be watchful of the deceit of the world. Deceit is indeed deceitful (it seems right and good in our eyes). Jeremiah 17:9 says “the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick, who can understand it?” In Christ, He guides us into truth and saves us from what we think is right in our own eyes. His Word (the Bible) shows us clearly the right way-it tells us to be watchful and to not indulge in worldliness and to despise sin (not form a friendship with it). I encourage y’all to not go the broad and wide way of the world but the enter the small and narrow gate that Christ speaks of. Indeed in HIM is true fullness of joy- way more than this world can ever offer. Do not love the things of this world brothers and sisters-it’s so deceitful. (1 John 2:15-17)
I will be very honest with you. As a Christian myself, I am also a pastors Kid. In my honest opinion I do not feel this show is for Christians. I am not here to judge anyone, but if you go to any pastor that preaches the truth and cares about your soul. I guarantee the answer to going on this show would be NO. I’m not going to lie. I watch this show. However as someone that’s been born and raised in the church, I find it hard to believe that God would put one of his children in a predicament like the bachelor or the bachelorette. I don’t feel that God would have a woman competing with 25 other woman for 1 man. That’s not how god operates. And that’s vise versa. Men competing with 25 other men for one woman. Again this is just my perspective from a Christian myself. I’ll say this God is not a God of confusion. I think often times we can confuse A door that God has opened with an opportunity that just presented itself from luck. I think it’s important to seek Godly counsel from a pastor that’s truly going to look out for your soul. I agree 100% on everything that you said. Again this is not me trying to judge, but it’s something that needs to be talked about as Christian’s . I am quite sure a lot of Christians have thought the same thing. God bless

Evangelicals have been peer pressured to evangelise to everybody. This makes authenticity very hard because theres a catch to every conversation. But sharing good news with the 9 fruits of character shouldnt be that complicated. The sciptures dont tell people to pressure people and be pushy imo. You can still be mature while having urgency about something.
