I have been using the Sainlogic WS 0310 for 3 weeks now. I am very pleased with it other than it continues to stop pushing data to WeatherCloud quickly after setting up. The data push to Wundergroud Weather works flawlessly though.
Interesting. I've just checked on WeatherCloud (which is full of ads .... lol) and it says Upload ratio of my Sainlogic station is 99.7% Last 30 days, so basically everything is there with literally no gaps or outages. Weird ....
@@allcheckout Well, that is good news for you. I'm still having issues with data getting to WeatherCloud. Yet, WU data is constantly updated. As an experiment, I am going to move my base station closer to my router just to see if that changes anything.
@ALLCHECKOUT, here is a little update. We recently started having connectivity issues with our Fire Sticks and streaming services. After troubleshooting a while, I discovered that the WIFI broadcasting from the router was sporadically dropping. I finally bit the bullet and bought a new router. After resetting multiple cameras, TVs, streaming devices, phones, tablets, and yes, the weather station, everything has been working like a charm. I can now upload data to both WU and WeatherCloud.
Thanks for your video! I've had this same weather station for a couple of years now and it usually works great. Except when the batteries die in the outdoor weather station, I have a lot of trouble getting the indoor console to reconnect. Have you had this problem and do you know how to solve?
Thanks for sharing your experience here and nope ... didn't have any reconnection problems after replacing the batteries, but Sainlogic is upgrading their units almost constantly and so there are always small differences in their behavior ...
Does anyone know how often it sends data to the receiver? I’ve found mine is about 60 seconds and it uploads to weather underground every 60 seconds as well. Is that normal for everyone?
I have been running my station for over a year and just now need to replace the batteries in the main station. Do I need to do the whole setup again or will it remembers it’s station id?
Sorry I don't know because I never had to do that - only on the outside station, but please keep us posted here about your experience with the battery replacement
Very nice video with full details I have the same weather station I have logged to the underground weather Web and its all connected with ragoava Weather station and I can see the green dot is on in the my devices on underground Web I have enabled for the clock auto upgrade but the weather station is not updating the clock at all? Hi Bro. Thanks for the nice comment. I've configured it when I made the video and then never touched the settings again and it's still doing a perfect job and auto updating the clock). So I'm unfortunatley not of further help to you - sorry :-(((
Thanks for asking. The hardware is quite solid - at least no problems so far. Also I've never had any problems with transmitting my data to Wunderground and the other site, but some people reported problems, but that was maybe the router. So my biggest complaints so far: - Display too bright for the night (not enough dimming, so I have to turn in off during the night) - The "feels like" temperature is always identical with the normal temperature (I guess it's a bug) - There is no min/max temp for the current day without pressing any button - The buttons/menus are a bit weird, but not too difficult On the positive side ... again .. no real problems ... not regarding software nor hardware and the display is super bright and has very large numbers so I can even read the basic numbers from 10 yards. So if you can get it for a decent price - go and get it ;-)))

If you need more fancy stuff, then also the AccuRite (amzn.to/3f4IfxH) could be OK for you, but I'm not a big fan of the AccuRite company any more because of the AccuRite bridge "desaster" where they actually cheated on their customers and support was always terrible and also sturdiness of the AccuRite has never been great, so I'm happy with the Sainlogic WS 0310 Weather Station (amzn.to/3sbCDWg) and can really recommend it
I have the WS 0300 for 2 weeks now, but can't get it to work with WUnderground. Everything looks fine, connected to WIFI, entered the Wunderground. But I can't get the device online. Whatever I do, it stays offline in Wunderground, also can't see it in Weathecloud.net. Was reading in forums that there are lots of problems with Wunderground since it was bought by IBM. Is it still possible to add devices to WU or is something wrong with my device? How can I check if my device is sending data, when I don't have an online device? Any help is appreciated!
Sorry to hear. I've just checked the status of my station on both sites and no problem at all. Do you have a different weather station? You Say WS 0300? I have the 0310 ... maybe a small difference?
It's in the normal 'settings' (long press settings) and then short press the settings a couple of times till 'm/s' is flashing and then use +/- to change to km/h
@@allcheckout Could you do me a favor and connect to yours and go to 192.168.5.1/upgrade.html and tell me what firmware version yours is running on. I have discovered with mine if I am connected to it with a device to configure it the updates work as expected. As soon as I disconnect the device from the console the Weather Underground weirdness starts again.
I am having the same issue. I am currently on v1.1.0 and am looking for the latest update (v1.2.3) so if anyone has it and can post it that would be awesome.

Hi there, Is somebody knowing how the weather forecast means ? Manual is so unreliable and information scarce here....For example I have to the right of those 2 yellow flowers a fixed cloud symbol, and also to the right 2 cloud symbols which alternating: one big cloud bellow and one smaller cloud above; those 2 symbols are blinking BUT I don't figure out the order. It's SO UNINTUITIVE ! I guess that to the left of those 2 yellow flowers are the pressure changings (increasing means first big bellow cloud is blinking and after the ABOVE smaller one is blinking; for pressure decreasing I guess it's viceversa) and the right of those 2 yellow flowers is weather forecast for 24-48hours, or WHAT ? Peoples, please share the right means of this symbols !
Right ... it's a bit confusing and it never 'told' me something, so I just ignored it. I mean we have so many free weather apps with much better forecast ... so it's not very important for me
If you have the hourly updates issue, send an email to info@sainlogic.com requesting v1.2.3 firmware. Be firm with them and threaten to return the unit if they do not provide the firmware. After many emails and threatening to return the unit I installed this firmware provided by Sainlogic and my unit is now updating on Weather Underground correctly.

I can't transmit data to WU always shows offline and the weatherstation is not in the list so I use other. Works flawlessly on weathercloud tho

I have the WS 0300 for 2 weeks now, but can't get it to work with WUnderground. Everything looks fine, connected to WIFI, entered the Wunderground. But I can't get the device online. Does it have an atomic clock receiver?
I don't think so. Most likely it will get the correct time from the Wifi
Mine only updates to Weather Underground once per hour. Is there any way to fix this? A setting or perhaps firmware?
