Please, in one of your new videos, touch upon the issue of vEthernet (WSL) and how it appears in Task Manager. How did it happen for you on one machine as an example. Did you do something in Windows or did you launch Salad? Did vEthernet (WSL) appear in Task Manager automatically?There is nothing about this in the Salad manual. It says that virtualization should be enabled and that's it, ok, it is enabled and all the checkboxes in the program are on Hyper-V, etc. Please, take a couple of minutes to answer this question. I just broke my head over the fact that vEthernet (WSL) is not displayed in Task Manager (although in the VmmemWSL processes it is there and takes work (but sometimes it disappears)). @@polack2 i dont know for sure... i kinda thought vmmem and nvidea containers where always running if you had virtualization turned on? if your vmmem isnt running and your not in a job you can quit salad and delete your C:\ProgramData\Salad\wsl file. restart the machine and see if that fixes it... I am not sure how it shows on windwos 11....

So I understand that if there is work, the machine itself raises VmmemWSL and does the task. There was just a long break in receiving work and I thought that I needed to activate VmmemWSL myself so that it would take the job. Ok. You helped me a lot Will, thank you very much. But I also need to observe the process of how the machine receives the job. And regarding cleaning the wsl file, I'll take note. I remember Blogger "Don't Mind Me Mining" wrote to Salad's support about deleting the wsl file and they wrote to him that there is no need to delete this file since when the machine receives work, it deletes it automatically. it doesnt display on windows 11. only on windows 10, which i am running.

I just threw my 4070S back on it. I'll give it a week before I throw it back on warthog.
4070 supers "might" be good on salad. my normal 4070 rarely gets work, it is my worst card on salad
