That’s awesome. I’m in the same boat as you. I used to hunt as a kid but now I am 39 and starting all over trying to figure all this out on my own to get ready to hunt in about 2 weeks
@@wcookiv what are some of your questions I can gear new content to help answer your questions and others that have them as well? Appreciate you stopping by to check it out
@@paparomesoutdoors711 As someone just starting to consider taking up deer hunting as a way to put meat in the deepfreezer in this economy, I want to know about things like upfront costs in terms of gear I would need, time investment like how many hours/days it usually takes to bag an animal, what deer stalking is actually like, how to find hunting buddies, basic stuff like that.
Ima open up here a little, my parents are some of the hardest working people I know but they are undocumented so I was held back from doing a lot of things growing up out of fear of getting caught or just not having the paperwork to begin with, I’ve always wanted to do this and this video helped a lot, god bless brother 🤝
PA does a hunting course online. It is pretty easy and fairly quick HOWEVER I do feel like it is a bare bones crash course. Pick someone’s brain who’s been doing it. Read the digest for the laws and regs. Pass it on. God speed! ;)
That is a good one also, great job. I even walk on public land during turkey season with Orange and when Im working a bird I remove it while sitting. Big helpful tips.
Bought myself a spot on a lease for next season. Am 34 and never too old to learn. Very excited about this
Wow that’s great good luck

You say it like 34 is old or something lol
How was the lease? Would you do it again or go public?
@gunsandsilver it was great, I'll never go public again. It's nice to have my own spot and camp too, I renewed for this upcoming season
I’m 17 and didn’t grow up hunting or fishing and always wanted to do stuff like that. Great video and very informative 👍
Thank you good luck
Brother this was really helpful. I have no family or friends who hunt so grateful for your insight
Thank you for this comment appreciate you watching and happy it helped! Good luck
29 and ready to start hunting... never been growing up.. should be interesting trying to get my first deer!
That’s great starting is key and taking it slow learning is important good luck! And enjoy the scenery
I never grew up hunting but I’m really passionate about it! Excited to use this video to start my learning process
This video answered none of the questions I had about deer hunting, but at least now I'll never forget that different places have different laws.

Find a mentor to teach you how to hunt right after you get your certificate from the hunting safety course
Spot on, great advice here.
I teach new hunters and this is what I tell them then get back to me so I can teach them how to hunt
