Along the way, they talk body positivity and the importance of looking after yourself as well as others - this is a truly inspirational transformation…
The Trinny Takeover Show stars a person in need of a life makeover with Trinny as your host. From throwing out old clothes to discovering new makeup, revitalised hair and a refreshed sense of style, it’s all about rediscovering yourself and your identity. With some honest guidance from Trinny, a lot of love from the Trinny London team and more than a few hours spent clothes shopping, a new way of thinking is revealed.

Can’t get enough of the makeover shows. Really loved this one. Emma is beautiful before and after but definitely elevated with the hair, makeup and outfit. Every woman’s dream of welcoming her best self.
One of the best makeovers. What a lovely lady and she so deserved to be spoilt and have a day that revolved around her. I love how she appreciated all that was done for her. Testament to the lovely person she is. X
I loved that the final outfit was a jumpsuit after Emma’s initial comments on entering M&S. I wish her luck with all her new endeavours.
I had endometrial cancer about 13 years ago. Having a full hysterectomy is a big thing in any woman’s life, having cancer is even bigger. But each year you get more confident. Endometrial cancer is the easiest cancer to cure if it’s caught early. So any spotting, at odd times, in between periods or after the menopause should be taken seriously. Loved this makeover. She looked absolutely fab!

Wow, that first print styled, blew my mind. I, like Emma, don’t like (or feel confident) tucking tops in. But, you cannot see any bump of a belly the way Trinny styled it. I’m inspired to keep trying until I get it right. AND congratulations to Emma for finishing endometrial cancer treatment! 🎉 Me, too!

Emma! I have a very similar story. I also had endometrial cancer two years ago and had to have the huge surgery and radiation, and my body has changed a lot. I have always been curvy but I felt like I knew how to dress myself before. Now I feel like I don't recognize myself. It's great to see you take some time and effort for yourself to feel good again!
Love the conversation in the cab, especially about how are mothers can play such a role in how we feel about our bodies. I realized in my late thirties that any body issues I though I had were really my mother putting her body issues on to me. Inspiration from women like you help as-well. Take Care, 🥂
so true! its painful to hear, and absoutely criminal judments from mums to daughters. Although my mum put her own figure down, she always praised mine, since i was a chind, it has made me content and confident with my slightly curvier hourglass shape that Emma's or Chloe's mum would also consider a bit overweight. So important not to distroy your daughter's self image.

I loved the outfit with the black dress and jacket, but the pink suit was perfection. I personally preferred those two outfits to the final jumpsuit.
I LOVE the tip of wearing a jacket over one's shoulders as I'm struggling with hormonal issues and tend to sweat a lot, so a jacket is often too warm on me but this way it will keep my shoulders covered - brilliant ! Thanks Trinny :D
She looks fabulous but it is really the increased confidence that stands out! I am always surprised by how many women are so busy taking care of others and do not take care of themselves. Ladies, treat yourselves the way you would want your best friends to be treated!!! Pamper yourselves.

I adore the Takeover show, it is always so emotional, I always get emotional too.. It is so much more about clothes and a new hair colour rather than women are facing so much struggles in their lifes how they look and sometimes they just need a little support from another woman and the feel someone understand them.. and only a woman can support another woman that way! That’s why Trinny is the best because she touches women the way they need ❤

The thing is, sometimes when we look in the mirror we don’t see pretty. We see all kinds of not so pretty so a makeover shifts that perspective and hopefully Emma goes forward always seeing pretty when she looks in the mirror. It’ll reflect outwardly and everyone will also see pretty, confident and happy.

Emma is not only a beautiful woman, she is a beautiful human being. She did looked stunning in the jumpsuit! Trinny is a magician with clothes X body types, I used to watch all the Trinny and Susanna make over on TV. It’s wonderful to see how Trinny’s knowledge can help women feel better about their bodies and boost their self esteem. From the conversation in the cab till the final pictures of Emma, this was a lovely episode, it made tearful, for I was moved by it.
