REFLEX BACK Temporary HMA Pavement Markers

The REFLEX BACK Temporary HMA Pavement Marker is a new tool for DOT's and Contractors to increase safety, reduce the need for cones, barrels, and temporary tape, and reduce the amount of time needed to open a lane to traffic. It is installed directly into the hot asphalt, right behind the paving machine, and is set in place by the first roller pass. It provides immediate lane delineation to accommodate opening to traffic sooner and will last as long as needed until permanent markings are in place. These markings were installed April 30, 2024, and were still in place and functional 8 months later when they were removed on December 17, 2024
