The problem really is the lack of vacuum. The suction cups have become porous. Although I am sure heating the pads help to make the pads flat and therefore have less air in to start with, the mount when pushed and the buttons closed are designed to suck and keep the air out. I've found with Garmin mounts the answer is to rub in some furniture polish onto the suction pad to seal the minute holes in the pad. Then they will keep the air out because you have a proper vacuum.
Ceasar Joelius I used a similar way of doing it but I boiled the kettle and slowly waved it above the steam then stuck it in an ice cold pan and bang it was good to go
I tended to agree with you, but the guy did say that the "boiled" water was left 10min to cool down...and he also put cold tap water in the pan....so, it should be safe enough....
Good Trick ! btw Your fridge is full of crap, consider a more healthy diet! That lonely salad has no Vitamins and maple syrup is usualy made of cheap unhealthy corn starch!

next challenge: fixing refrigerator after putting pan with hot water in it.

He put it on top of a plate
@@CoolestAlex No, he said boiled water turned off TWO minutes ago, then he added some HOT water, so you don't cool it down so fast.
@@CoolestAlex 2 mins

blow dryer high heat 2-3 mins per suction cup and fixed
who drank the whole jug of cheap as wine, tell the wife to slow down
I tried this on a really cheap suction cup for a kitchen item and it worked! How long it lasts remains to be seen. Thanks!
And how long did it last?

Cheers bud!
my dashcam and its suction are hardly a month old and do not have any waves, they are firm as new but the device keeps falling down.
Can you use this method for any suction cup, like Ram Mountain products?
It works perfectly!! Thank you so much!
How long do you leave it in the freezer? Just asking since you forgot to explain how long it should be in there.

My fridge has soda, pancake syrup that may be a decade old, a dead fly (same), and what is either a joint, or an old french fry.
