I still dream for a day some millonare guy buys the rights of the game and make S4 league v2 with todays graphics , no pay2win and only cosmetic stuff like in team fortress 2. The game truly could have become one of the best in e-sports because of much skill you needed to do certain stuff in the game.(sniper pros , wings+cs pro , jumps pros ,PS sword pros , revo+bat pros , taking adventage of certain glitches like the comet , meteor , reload cancel , hopping , air hugging ,ghost straffing.)
I have the same dream, just imagine, S4 League in all the news, with an incredible competition around the world, millions of players fighting to become the best S4 League Player, that's so epic, it's my fucking dream, maybe one day will be possible thanks to a great company. By the way, this game remind me of an VR INMERSIVE GAME, like the movie Ready One Player One.
I know this sounds kind of naive, but a friend and me do plan to make this dream a reality someday. Oftentimes a problem for developing a non-mainstream game independently is that you don't know whether or not you'll get an audience that actually buys/plays your game. But in this case, I'm certain there will be enough former S4 Players that a playerbase will exist either way, as long as the quality of the product is good enough.
if youre still wondering, a private server made by a small portion of the player base has more active players than the official server, aeria games killed the game slowly but surely :)
Where did you find that the title is "Never Give Up"? Did you make it up? EDIT: alright the in-game jukebox lists it as NeverGiveUp, but I wonder who should be credited as the author
